This document summarizes a presentation on implementing human area networking using RedTacton technology. RedTacton allows communication by touching and uses the human body as a transmission medium. It works by a transmitter producing an electric field that a receiver senses to detect changes caused by the transmitter. The presentation proposes a model using an Arduino, sensors, and RedTacton components to transmit biotelemetry data like heart rate. Results showed the technology enables faster data transfer with less loss compared to previous work. Future applications could include using body-coupled communication through clothing for wireless body area networks.
