Malala Yousafzai is a Pakistani activist for female education and the youngest Nobel Peace Prize laureate. As a child in Pakistan, she blogged about advocating for female education and spoke out against the Taliban's ban on girls attending school. In 2012, the Taliban attempted to assassinate Malala by shooting her in the head for her advocacy work. Though severely injured, Malala survived and has continued campaigning internationally for the right to education. She co-founded the Malala Fund to support girls' education and became a global symbol of peaceful protest and resilience.
