SAVE A GIRL CHILD
No women No world
Presentedby
K.vaheedha rehman
INTRODUCTION:
 Today the world is growing dynamically in all
fields. The boom in economy ,innovative
techniques and improved architecture has
become nation’s pride. The country has seen
advancements in all fields but a girl child is still
preponderating in the country.
 This social misery is deep rooted in Indian
ideology and the most abominable fact is that the
innovative and hard high end technologies are
heartlessly killing the girl child.
Female foeticides and infanticides are not the only
issue with a girl child in India .At every stage of life she
is discriminated and neglected for basic nutrition
,education and living standard .When she was in the
abyss, she was forced to die .At the time of birth her
relatives wrung her neck. After killing her. she was
thrown into a ashcan.
During girl hood ,her brother was charged with
new shoes ,dresses and books to learn while she
was gifted a broom ,a wiper and lots of fears .In her
teenage ,she missed tasty delightful food to eat and
got only the crumbs .
During her college days she was forced to
get married ,a stage were un-scholarliness.
Lack of education resulted in high ferocity rate
,aggravating the conditions of females in the
province .Again if this female gives birth to a
girl child the way faring begins over again .
She missed all roses of life and was finally
fitted to her external home that is grave yard.
That’s were she got peace of mind
DEFINITION:
“KILLING OF AN ENTIRELY DEPENDENT CHILD
UNDER “ONE YEAR OF AGO” WHO IS KILLED BY
MOTHER ,PARENTS OR OTHERS IN WHOLE
CARE THE CHILD IS ENTRUSTED”
Female foeticide is the act of aborting a foetus because it is
female. This is a major social problem in India and has cultural
connections with the dowry system that is ingrained in India culture
,despite the fact that it has been prohibited by law since 1961.
In India a strong preference for sons over daughters exists ,unlike in
western cultures. people realize smaller family sizes with relatively
greatest number of sons through the use of medical technologies .
pregnancies are planned by sorting to ‘differential contraception’
-contraception is used based on the number of surviving sons
irrespective of family size following conception ,foetal sex is determined
by prenatal diagnostic techniques after which female foetuses are
aborted
FEMALE FOETICIDE:
HERE I AM BRINING IN NOTICE AGAIN A VERY SERIOUS AND
SINFUL JOB THAT IS DONE EVEN TODAY IN OUR COUNTRY
.THAT IS FEMALE FOETICIDE
AN EVIL IN INDIA
OPINION OF PARENTS:
when a girl is
born instead of
being happy
parents are
thinking that a
new burden has
arrived in their
life……..
REASONS : FOR KILLING
•Poverty
•Gender discrimination
•Lack of education
•Traditional practices
•Future speculation (marriage,dowry,etc
Census and female foeticide:
There were
78,820,411(7.8
crore)
Females
between the
ages 0-6 years
in India per
census 2001
There were
8,989,930(8.6
crore)females
between the
ages 10-16
years in India
per census
2011
Child is a gift of god.
A beautiful creation of
nature through human
being in mother’s
womb
Every child has
the right
survival to live
with good
health care and
right for equal
education in the
country .
In our country every
year about twelve
millions girls
children's are born .
Out of 12 millions
nearly one million
dies before first
birthday of the child
due to lack of
medical health care&
…………….
Protection of girl child:
Tracking of pregnancy since
conception till delivery.
Cross checking of staff engaged in
maintaining record of pregnant
woman.
Awareness to pregnant women that
there no difference in girl child & boy
child.
Better health care of female child.
What’s wrong with humans ??????
Why killing the girl
child??????
What's difference between humans and animals????
