This document outlines the development of a web-based activity called "Math that Matters" using the ADDIE model of instructional design. The activity aims to teach students real-world budgeting and financial skills. Key parts of the ADDIE process are analyzed, including identifying learning objectives, designing sections that build upon each other, and implementing a formative assessment within the activity as well as a summative student paper. Peer evaluations provided feedback to improve the webquest before implementation. The goal is for students to find the activity engaging while learning important math skills for personal finance.
