Description
The
Master
of
Business
Administration
in
the
Global
Economy
with
a
Concentration
in
Project
and
Operations
Management
prepares
individuals
to
face
the
advanced
management
and
administrative
challenges
encountered
in
the
current
large
scale
and/or
complex
high-­‐tech
global
organizations.
In
particular,
this
concentration
provides
technically
and
operationally-­‐oriented
professionals
with
the
skills
necessary
to
effectively
and
efficiently
manage
large-­‐scale
projects
and
continuously
improve
related
organizational
processes
and
procedures.
Complementing
classes
on
project
and
operations
management,
the
courses
in
the
program
are
designed
to
provide
the
student
with
superior
skills
in
online
communications,
financial
management
and
business
law
that
are
needed
to
compete
in
the
rapidly
developing,
highly
competitive
field
of
global
business
management.

Requirements
In
order
for
students
to
successfully
complete
their
program,
all
required
materials
must
be
completed,
submitted,
and
within
the
maximum
program
duration.
Students
who
fail
to
complete
the
program
at
this
level
may
appeal
to
the
Director
of
Education
for
an
extension.
Students
must
also
complete
the
proctored
Degree
Exit
Examination
for
this
program
to
graduate.
Students
can
complete
a
course
with
a
grade
of
“B”
(or
3.0
out
of
4.0).
Students
who
fail
to
complete
a
course
with
a
minimum
grade
of
“B”
must
retake
the
course.
In
order
to
meet
SAP
requirements
and
be
able
to
graduate,
the
student
has
to
have
an
overall
average
of
“B”
(or
3.0
out
of
4.0)
for
all
courses
and
be
able
to
complete
all
work
required
within
150%
of
the
program
duration
or
an
additional
year
of
the
published
length
whichever
is
less.

The
applicant's
prior
college
academic
records

show
a
minimal
Cumulative
Grade

2.5
on
a
scale
of
4.0,
“C”
or
higher.

of
the
applicant's
Curriculum
Vitae
or
Professional
Resume.
• An
applicant
who
has
completed
his
Bachelor's
degree
in
a
non-­‐business
related
area
(i.e.,
Engineering
or
Science)
is
required
to
meet
ACOT’s
business
foundational
prerequisites
by
completing
one
additional
course,
CIB-­‐110
Introduction
to
Business,
with
a
grade
of
a
B
or
higher.
• International
Students:
In
addition
to
the
above
requirements,
international
students
have
to
demonstrate
knowledge
of
the
English
Language
(reading
and
writing),
by
taking
the
ACT
Compass
exam
and
receiving
a
score
of
at
least
80%.
ACOT
reserves
the
right
to
accept
students
on
a
conditional
basis
if
one
or
more
of
the
above
mentioned
requirements
are
not
met
upon
admission.
However,
any
deficiencies
must
be
remedied
within
four
months
from
the
program
start
date.
