This curriculum vitae summarizes the professional experience and qualifications of Masato Tanaka, MD. It includes his personal details, education history, licensure, academic appointments, hospital appointments, memberships, honors, research interests, and publications. Tanaka graduated from Okayama University Medical School in 1988 and 1994. He is an Associate Professor at Okayama University Hospital specializing in orthopedic surgery, with a focus on spine surgery.
Bilateral simultaneous avulsion fractures of the anterior tibial tubercle (ATT) are extremely rare. Since the first description in 1954, 15 similar cases have been reported. We report a further case in a 16-year-old boy who sustained bilateral simultaneous tibial tubercle avulsion fractures (Watson-Jones Type III) from jumping during a gymnastics session. The right knee presented an associated partial avulsion of the patellar tendon. Both knees were treated successfully by open reduction and internal fixation with two cannulated screws. The recovery of the patient was complete; the screws were removed six months later. After one year follow-up, the patient had no complaint and had resumed his sporting activity.
Aims: As old paracervical block using Kobak needle (Atom Medical, Tokyo, Japan) abondoned developing fetal bradycardia, new safe vaginal submucosal anesthesia was tried to safely remove labor pain.
Methods: Three ml local anesthetics was injected to vaginal submucosal tissue with 2 mm exposed 22G 14 cm long Cathelin needle (Hakko, Nagano, Japan), and 5 mm exposed needle injecting 7-10ml anesthetics to block pudendal nerve.
Results: Analgetic and relaxation effects were sufficient, despite no fetal and maternal damage was experienced among 4,070 cases of anesthesia in 6,976 births. Local anesthesia was repeated if it was necessary.

Scatter correction, attenuation correction, and resolution correction are commonly used to improve the quantify ability of a SPECT image. However, almost none of these are discussed specifically for the pediatric patient. This study aims to suggest practical image processing techniques to improve pediatric SPECT reconstructions.
Percutaneous Pedicle Screw Fixation For Thoracolumbar injuries using a low co...Ansarul Haq
The goal of PPSI is to decrease the trauma associated with the standard open approach, which can lead to significant devascularization and denervatation of the paraspinal musculature. This tissue trauma may be a contributing factor to patients’ chronic pain after surgery
Percutaneous pin fixation of the mallet fracture, review of the techniquesAmir R. Kachooei, MD
In this report, we reviewed our results with single pin fixation for the mallet fractures with solar subluxation of the distal phalanx. We also reviewed the current surgical techniques for the treatment of mallet fracture.
