As a training program architect Marty specializes in creating energetic,

His first book, Communication LandMines,18 CommunicationCatastrophes
and How to Avoid Them was written directly as a result of all of his years of
sales experience on both sides of the decisionmaker's desk. The booksold
out its first printing and has been recently translated into Mandarin.
In June 2005,Marty published his second book, Leadership LandMines,8
ManagementCatastrophesand How to Avoid Them which focuseson the on
the eight specificbehaviors that cripple any manager’s ability to emerge as a
true leader.
In 2009,Marty published his groundbreaking third book, SalesMachineLand
Mines,6 Sales Revenue Killers and the Blueprintto Avoid Them. This book
delivers the template Marty and his staff use when fixing broken sales teams or
sending good sales teams into revenue overdrive.

successfulconsulting firm, through which Marty and his staff focus on:

public relations, training, and post-sale quality assurance for a 25 location, 250+
personsales team delivering complexvoice, data, and internet commercial
solutions.
From 1991 to 1998 Marty was a nationally awarded sales leader and rose
through the sales and management ranks of MCI Telecommunications. He
started as a quota-bearing Account Executive and worked his way up through
Senior Account Executive, Sales Trainer, Sales Manager, New Hire Sales
Recruiter/Trainer, Branch Business/Operations Manager.
Marty received his BA in English from Lafayette College,Easton, Pa.
Marty lives quietly with his wife and 3 children in Raleigh, North Carolina.
When he’s not at home or with a client, Marty can typically be found on or near
a hockey rink.
