Smythson. I’ve decided to make a product
close to NME because it has a similar music
genre and audience to what I have aimed my
magazine to.
2. Conventions of music magazines
• Darker colours to attract a more male audience
• Brighter colours to attract a wider spread
audience
• Having a music artist as the main image on front
page and making that artist the main story
• Font that attracts the audience; something eye
catching with colours that contrast the magazines
main colour.
