The three major legal systems of the world today consist of civil law, common law and religious law. However, each country often develops variations on each system or incorporates many other features into the system.

Note: Some parts, such as the advantages and disadvantages, has the '@' or has multiple options. This is because they were taken from various sources from the internet and books and there are just too many of them to choose from. Just choose the ones that you are able to memorise. If there's anything else that you don't understand from the notes, do leave a comment.
Chapters/topics that are NOT INCLUDED in the notes are:

- Primary Healthcare
- Other Regional Organisations such as OIC, ASEAN, etc.
- Poverty/Global Economic Issues/World Bank/IMF

TIPS!
- Print on both sides but make sure to separate the chapters (don't mix two chapters on both sides of a piece of paper).
- Do not abandon the lecture notes that are given to you by the lecturers completely. Instead, combine those notes with this (in case there are incomplete information anywhere -- you'll get the best of both worlds).

The system of rules which a particular country or community recognizes as regulating the actions of its members and which it may enforce by the imposition of penalties. The position of a legal consultant is straightforward but flexible. Some of the shifts in environment and responsibilities associated with the transition may be obvious, but the changes are somewhat based on the circumstances.

and Judicial institutions related to organization of
the constitutional bodies and the exercise of the
citizen’s basic rights and freedoms.
2. Administration Law-this regulates the organization
and functioning of the powers and bodies of the
states and its relations with individuals.
7. 3. Criminal Law-this regulates the so-called punitive
(disciplinary) actions.
4. Process Law-this is integrated by the collection of
Laws that regulate judging procedures.
5. Financial and Tax Law-this is a collection of Laws that
organize or study the resources that constitute the
finances of the state and the other public bodies. They
regulate the procedures to obtain deposits and to
regulate expenses and payments
8. 6. International Public Law- this is integrated by the
Laws that regulate the Judicial relations between each
state and the other members of the international
community.
9. 1. Civil Law-this is integrated by the collection of Laws
that regulate the person, the family, personal, assets,
contractual relations and the extra contractual civil
responsibility.
2. Commercial Law-this is the collection of Laws that
regulate Law relating to business.
3. Labour or Social Law-this regulates the
relationships between employers.
4. International Private Law-this regulates the
relationships between Physical and Judicial persons
of different nationalities
