Duties: Organized a group in Melbourne, FL for statewide protest, Hands Across the Sand. Non-violent protest
demonstrated citizens’ opposition to oil drilling near the coast. Movement is dedicated to protection of

Florida Fish and Wildlife Indian River Field Laboratory: 1 years volunteer service Duties: I assist fisheries biologists with different size seine net sampling methods and bottomtrawls, in the field and in the laboratory fish identification for representative samples and definitive identification samples, and prepare significantly important fish samples for mercury testing. Hands Across the Sand: February 13, 2010 Duties: Organized a group in Melbourne, FL for statewide protest, Hands Across the Sand. Non-violent protest demonstrated citizens’ opposition to oil drilling near the coast. Movement is dedicated to protection of environment, tourism, and citizens’ well being from potential effects of oil exploration and supporting industries. Honors Awarded one Florida State S.T.E.M.
