Government for career options and development of succession planning. Experiences
included leading a capture & release exercise to the remote islands around the Falklands

Duties included 140 – 180 days/year aboard randomly selected trawlers and longliners
licensed in the Falkland Islands to monitor catch statistics, health & safety, bird
interaction mitigation and license infringements. Also included collection of biological
samples and 400+ morphological data entries of targeted species daily along with
associated data entry. Reports for both the scientific and fishing community were
required to be completed for each vessel.
