Internship at Pacific Aquaculture and Coastal Research Center in Hilo, HI, culturing oyster spat
for grow out farmers on the U.S. west coast. This included brood stock conditioning, larvae and
spat tank maintenance and culturing 2 species of microalgae for feed. Although, this position
was voluntary, I was offered employment at the completion of my internship.
