  Dear Linda,


  As you know, usually we send one newsletter per quarter. However, there are so
  many exciting changes to announce from Taylor Performance Solutions that we are
  sending this special newsletter.


  Go Green - Go Virtual - Reduce Expenses - New Phone # (800) 610-8170


  The first important detail we need to announce is our goal for green! (And our goal
  to reduce expenses so we can mai ntain our current fees through 2011.)As fees
  from our suppliers went up last year, we were challenged in maintaining our fee
  structure for our clients. So, this year we continue to initiate cost cutting
  initiatives. One important initiative is to go totally virtual which will save on
  administrative costs, gas, etc. By June 1, 2011, this process will be complete.
  Already, we have implemented a VOIP and a new 800#. In addition, by May 31,
  2011, we will no longer rent an office in Melvill e and all of our consultants will be
  working virtually from professional home offices. W e are very happy to say this
  change will enable us to increase productivit y and control more expenses. Our new
  mailing address is at the bottom of this email.

  Do You Guys Offer That Type of Training? (Secti on Three Below)

  I also added a new column to our newsletter, which highlights new programs or
  recently updated programs so all of our clients and colleagues can be aware of the
  full range of solutions we offer and how we offer them. Thanks to a discussion I
  had with a long time client last month, we plan to keep this information available
  and updated for you in our monthly newsletter.

One of my long time clients and I were debriefing after the completion of a
program and I noticed she had brochures on her desk from another training
company for business writing public workshops. W hen I asked about it, she said
that many of their employees needed development in this area.


I felt as if I hadn't done my job because we offer business writing. And,

we specialize in customizing the program to employees' positions. Generally, if you
have 6 or more people who need to attend, it is a less expensive -
higher quality option. W hen I told her that we off er the same program, only better -

keeping my clients up to date'. So, here is a short list of the variety of w ork we

Outplacement Servi ces


In the first half of 2010, we updated and enhanced our Outpl acement Ser vices.

W e now have a terrific one day program called "Next Step Career Workshop" that
has been consistently been receiving rave reviews from participants. During the
highly interactive workshop, we focus on resume writing, cover letters, interviewing
skills and networking techniques.
Feedback from one client was that our workshop increased productivity in the
plant while the downsizing was occurring. Morale was up because
the employees really felt that the company was helping them during their
career transition.


W e also offer individual packages for terminated employees and you don't have to
pay for services you don't use. Services include resume writing, interview
coaching, salary negotiation, job search techniques and discounts on online skill
development programs offered through TAYLOR Performance Online Learning.


Customer Service


Skill development modules such as Responding to Complaints, Delivering
Difficult Messages, Creating Loyal Customers, Professional Email
Correspondence are not limited to classroom delivery anymore. W e now offer
these as interactive webinars which are a less expensive approach to developing
the customer service and communication skills of your team.


Sales


Since our programs are highly customized, our sales programs are always being
updated and enhanced. One of the modules that went through a major overhaul
was the Sales Negotiations module. This interactive program is designed to help
your sales people avoid leaving money on the table and achieve a W in -W in
outcome. It is a critical competency for any sales person who needs to come to
agreement with prospects/clients on contracts, proposals, etc.


Leadershi p and Talent Management


One of our biggest successes this year was in the development of an HR
Recruiting Tool Kit for one of our clients. The tool kit includes how to:

       Write a job posting
       Review resumes
       Make the initial phone screen interview
       Conduct effective face to face interviews
       Check references
       Make the offer
       Identify alternative approaches to finding candidates.


W e designed the tool kit and a "Certification" training program for Line Managers
to attend. Once they complete the certification training, they receive the tool kit
for future use.
