What we find is that unless there is an equal effort to sustain the momentum generated
during the workshops, executives tend to get distracted by pressing work issues once they
get back to the office and stop there.

Following training sessions, we propose two solutions:
S1- Feedback - Ask executives to reflect on the sorts of problems that have arisen during their
development action plans and formalize these findings into collective lessons-learned.
S2- Insight - Send Insights campaigns that include concrete tips and downloadable resources
related to key training session topics (e.g. fostering innovation, promoting diversity, etc.).
A single or any combination of the proposed solutions described in the next slides are possible.

Accelerate learning through collective feedback
We propose to organize collective feedback and formalize in writing the lessons learned so
that the collective learning is captured and shared on your groupware platform. This
generates interest, sustains the momentum of the program and accelerates individual
learning on handling change and embodying your leadership principles.

Share collective lessons-learned enriched with Manageris content,
Provide an opportunity to render the executives’ work visible to the wider EADS
managers’ community.

Method:
•  Ask your executives to describe briefly what they have done so far, the difficulties that

have arisen, solutions found or helpful resources, as well as the next steps each intends
to take,
These sessions could be conducted by means of a Manageris facilitator or a PDI coach
via webinar or alternatively, questions and answers done entirely by email or your
groupware platform.

What we have seen in organizations time and again is that promoted values and behaviors
tend to be regarded as ideals that fail to capture the notice of busy executives overwhelmed
by relentless bids for their time. What we find is that principles start to matter once
executives find concrete ways of applying them in their daily operations, for their own benefit.

Prepare an Insights campaign every four to six weeks designed to get your executives to
practice competencies covered during the training session,
Sustain the momentum of training sessions and encourage progress on individual
development action plans through on-the-job activities.

Method:
Each Insights campaign would include:
•  Three to five practical on-the-job activities to practice in a way that is simple, requires little
effort and delivers the first quick wins,
•  Concrete tips and food for thought, as well as downloadable resources, that require no
more than two minutes to get to the first actionable insights and help implement the
activities successfully.

Supporting change after training sessions! + Support your executives with feedback and insight What we find is that unless there is an equal effort to sustain the momentum generated during the workshops, executives tend to get distracted by pressing work issues once they get back to the office and stop there. Following training sessions, we propose two solutions: S1- Feedback - Ask executives to reflect on the sorts of problems that have arisen during their development action plans and formalize these findings into collective lessons-learned. S2- Insight - Send Insights campaigns that include concrete tips and downloadable resources related to key training session topics (e.g. fostering innovation, promoting diversity, etc.). A single or any combination of the proposed solutions described in the next slides are possible.

S1 Accelerate learning through collective feedback We propose to organize collective feedback and formalize in writing the lessons learned so that the collective learning is captured and shared on your groupware platform. This generates interest, sustains the momentum of the program and accelerates individual learning on handling change and embodying your leadership principles. Outputs / Benefits •  •  Share collective lessons-learned enriched with Manageris content, Provide an opportunity to render the executives’ work visible to the wider EADS managers’ community. Method: •  Ask your executives to describe briefly what they have done so far, the difficulties that •  have arisen, solutions found or helpful resources, as well as the next steps each intends to take, These sessions could be conducted by means of a Manageris facilitator or a PDI coach via webinar or alternatively, questions and answers done entirely by email or your groupware platform. What we would do: •  •  •  Manageris would draw out examples of recurring challenges mentioned and formalize the findings into an executive-friendly format and publish the experience sharing to your groupware platform, Manageris could also include downloadable resources related to the business challenges to provide practical tips and food for thought, as well as concrete course of actions, Repeat every six to ten weeks.

S2 Help your executives move from strategy to action What we have seen in organizations time and again is that promoted values and behaviors tend to be regarded as ideals that fail to capture the notice of busy executives overwhelmed by relentless bids for their time. What we find is that principles start to matter once executives find concrete ways of applying them in their daily operations, for their own benefit. Outputs / Benefits: •  •  Prepare an Insights campaign every four to six weeks designed to get your executives to practice competencies covered during the training session, Sustain the momentum of training sessions and encourage progress on individual development action plans through on-the-job activities. Method: Each Insights campaign would include: •  Three to five practical on-the-job activities to practice in a way that is simple, requires little effort and delivers the first quick wins, •  Concrete tips and food for thought, as well as downloadable resources, that require no more than two minutes to get to the first actionable insights and help implement the activities successfully.
