Dolphins live in both icy and warm oceans as well as rivers. They have physical adaptations like sharp teeth, fins, and tails that help them hunt prey, swim swiftly, and defend against predators. Dolphins also display behavioral adaptations such as porpoising, holding their breath, and using echolocation to communicate. Fun facts provided about dolphins include that their prey sometimes includes young whales, they drink their mothers' milk, and they can locate objects and speak to other dolphins using echolocation.
