Center for Cultural Engagement (Fall 2012-Spring 2013)—Internship seminar explored the
social role bullying plays in our highly competitive society. Seminar included hands-on
experience with anti-bullying focus group, discussion about motivations behind bullying, and
strategies for addressing the problem.
Millennium Cyborg—Researched and wrote paper examining the relationship between technology
and democracy, examining the socio-political implications of human enhancement, and the
importance of democracy in regulating new technologies.
