How to know that you are dying spirituallyMichael Smith
This document discusses signs that a Christian may be dying spiritually and provides advice for spiritual renewal. It notes that Christians can fall away if the story of the cross no longer moves them, if they are fooling themselves, or have left their first love. It encourages readers to participate in worship, save souls, and avoid worldly attractions. For those failing to do what they know is right, it advises repenting quickly. The conclusion calls all who are dying spiritually to be saved through Jesus by obeying the gospel through hearing, believing, repenting of sins, confessing faith, baptism, and remaining faithful.

The document discusses the history and practice of tithing. It notes that many ancient countries had a form of tithing as a tax. Tithing is first mentioned in the Bible with Abraham and was later commanded under Mosaic law, though the Israelites sometimes neglected it. In Jesus' time it had become a legalistic ritual. The New Testament does not command Christians to give 10% and early Christians saw tithing as part of the Old Covenant. For Christians, giving should be motivated by love rather than law and done joyfully according to what one has received from God.
If you have been a Christian for very long, you have experienced God’s delays. David experienced them. Waiting is especially difficult in light of the shortness of life. The older you get, the quicker life seems to fly by
Because life is so short, it’s difficult when the Lord makes you wait.
There are many lessons that we can learn from our times of waiting for God’s delays, but I would like to focus on two:
God uses His delays to teach us to trust Him more fully and to submit more thoroughly to His lordship over our lives.
Brotherly love has amazed many people throughout the centuries. Love of the brethren is commanded by God. Brotherly love mus be worked at to achieve. problems in the church are either directly or indirectly connected to lack of love for one another. love is the key to a growing or even a surviving church.

The passage discusses how God reconciled humanity to himself through Christ and gave believers the ministry of reconciliation. It says believers are Christ's ambassadors, implored to appeal to others to be reconciled to God. God wants believers to both serve other Christians through ministry and introduce unbelievers to God through their mission.
When the Lord gave us His Spirit, He gave us fully and without reserve, If you are a believer in The Lord Jesus Christ, you have it as it is your right and inheritance.
God tells Joshua to lead the Israelites into the Promised Land after Moses' death. He promises His presence and help, telling Joshua to be strong and courageous. God assures success if Joshua faithfully obeys the law and does not turn from it. The Lord wants Joshua to develop courage through trusting His wisdom, obeying His word, remembering past faithfulness, observing others' courage, and recalling His promise to always be with him. Developing courage involves focusing on God rather than circumstances.
Nicodemus visits Jesus at night, acknowledging him as a teacher from God. Jesus tells Nicodemus he needs a spiritual rebirth, which is difficult for Nicodemus to understand. Jesus explains that spiritual transformation is a supernatural work of the Holy Spirit, producing conversion and a new life in Christ. The document then discusses what it means to be born again through the work of the Holy Spirit, the need to continually abide in Christ, and taking up one's cross daily to deny oneself and follow him.
This document discusses the biblical concept of stewardship. It explains that as God's stewards, we are responsible for using the time, abilities, possessions, and other blessings God has given us for His purposes. This includes returning tithes and offerings to acknowledge God's ownership and support the proclamation of the gospel. The document references several biblical passages that discuss concepts like dominion over creation, tithing being instituted by God, and Jesus recognizing the duty of tithing. It also addresses proper use of tithes and time management as aspects of stewardship.
It should be our desire to please God, but how do we please God? God wants you forgive your sins. God wants you to believe in Him and trust Him. God wants you to do his will. God wants you to follow Him. God wants you to forsake all for him. God wants you to be in heaven with Him.
This document discusses the importance of committing children to the Lord and training them in the way they should go according to Proverbs 22:6. It emphasizes directing children towards godliness from a young age through early training that shapes their later life, like bending a twig shapes a tree. Examples are given of Moses and Daniel who were brought up with godly training and remained faithful even when faced with difficult situations later in life. The document also addresses disciplining children with love through habit formation and correcting misbehavior. Parents are encouraged to demonstrate righteous behavior and provide children with tools and skills to make good decisions and choose the right path in life.
This is an overview of some of the main points of what is being called a "hyper-grace" theology. It powerful truths that are out of balance with other parts of scripture. Hyper-grace theology can help people in some ways by emphasizing the incredible love and grace of God. Hyper-grace theology can also confuse and damage people because it seems to ignore the clear commands of the Bible to avoid sin, confess sins and "work out their salvation in fear and trembling" motivated and empowered by the love and grace of God.
Pray that the teachers of hyper-grace theology will find a biblically balanced way to help people encounter the most gracious, kind, generous, loving, compassionate Person the universe who also holds us accountable for how we live and will discipline us in love as a wise Father to bring us back to safety within godly living.

This document outlines a class on biblical stewardship that takes a three-step approach: breadth, depth, and motivation. It will cover stewardship as a worldview topic and discuss finances and giving. The first session focuses on using talents and skills to serve God in one's daily work or vocation. It discusses being made in God's image to creatively transform the world and how we are responsible for actively using our gifts. The video highlights how Christianity helped advance the West by celebrating work and risk-taking with God-given assets.

10 Mistakes Business Owners Make (and how to avoid them).Os Hillman
This document summarizes the 10 biggest mistakes business leaders make and how Jesus avoided them. It discusses how Jesus understood his purpose and the purpose of his organization. The document promotes a 6-month CEO roundtable program to help Christian business leaders apply these principles and operate their businesses from a kingdom perspective.

BUSINESS DEVOTION: Consider the Source (Hebrews 4:12-13) - The Bible has a vital role in our lives, but few of us live consistently under its authority. All of us can benefit from growing here, but this takes day-after-day intentionality. Psalm 119 says, "I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you” and “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” None of us can consistently discern God’s will apart from His Word. We hide it in our hearts in order to apply it during the tumult of our daily lives.
WORKING ON OUR BUSINESS: Compensation: A Biblical Perspective - This classic C12 segment validates “pay for performance” as the Biblical compensation model. This is the first in a series of five C12 segments focused on effectively connecting compensation with performance. Test your own approach to see whether it breeds entitlement or personal responsibility, performance, and teamwork.
WORKING ON OUR MINISTRY THROUGH BUSINESS: The Most Helpful Counsel - This segment is a primer on how to give and receive godly counsel. It’s aimed at helping us maximize the opportunity for wise counsel and accountability within our C12 peer groups to generate increased value-added impact and eternal fruitfulness.

This method outlines a 4-step process for facilitating small group discussions:
1) An attention-getter to introduce the topic through activities like questions, stories, or objects.
2) Examining what the Bible passage says about the topic by asking observation questions.
3) Applying the passage personally by asking group members how it relates to their situations.
4) Closing with prayers for takeaways, actions, and outcomes discussed during the sharing time.
The goal is engaging participation through different introduction techniques, focusing discussion on understanding and applying the Bible passage, and ending on a positive note with prayer.
The document discusses two viruses: COVID-19 and the "Human Condition (THC) Virus", which refers to humanity's inherent sinfulness. It argues that the THC Virus is 100% lethal and already a part of all people. However, it says the good news is that through Jesus Christ, believers can obtain an imperishable, undefiled inheritance in heaven despite this brokenness. It encourages readers to use the current pandemic as an opportunity to re-examine their faith and conduct, and to place their hope fully in God's grace through Jesus.
It's no longer about Millenials, the youth you encounter today will be mainly Gen Z. Here are some characteristics to consider if we want to reach out to this generation.
The document discusses the importance of glorifying God. It references Jesus' prayer in John 17:1-5 where he asks God to glorify him so that he can glorify God. It states that eternal life is knowing God and Jesus, and seeing Jesus as glorious is important for having eternal life. The document also discusses how salvation is impossible through human effort alone, but possible through God, referencing the conversion of atheist John Wright. It concludes by saying that all circumstances, including tragic ones, only make sense when viewed as meant to glorify God.
This document discusses Paul's purpose and life goals based on passages from the Bible. Paul's overarching purpose was to live for Christ and know Him. His main life goals were to finish his ministry of testifying to the gospel, proclaiming Christ to make disciples, preaching where Christ was unknown, and bringing aid to believers in Jerusalem. The document also discusses the importance of having life goals for direction, focus, and fulfillment. It suggests finding one's calling where personal passions meet the world's needs. Overall, the document provides biblical examples and perspectives on defining and pursuing life goals.
The document discusses Romans 6:23, which contrasts the "wages of sin" with the "gift of God." It states that the wages of sin is death, which means separation from God. However, the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ. Later sections discuss how sin is an attitude against God, while Jesus offers hope and new life. Surrendering one's life to God through confessing sins and accepting Jesus as Lord is emphasized as well.
The document discusses different levels or categories that youth can be at spiritually and suggests matching youth programs and activities to their appropriate level. It identifies several levels including unchurched, unconnected, regular attenders, growing youth, and youth leaders. The document then provides examples of different programs and activities that could engage youth at each level, from outreach events for unchurched youth to leadership training for older youth. The goal is to help youth grow spiritually by providing programming suited to their current level of spiritual development.

Pictures show some of these highlights, including trainings hosted by various churches from April to May in locations like Bukidnon, Cagayan de Oro, Iligan City, Quezon City, Makati, Cavite, and Palawan. The document requests prayer for future trainings beyond the Philippines and sustainable funding as the ministry steps out in faith.
This document summarizes several studies on premarital sex among Filipino youth. It reports that acceptance of premarital sex has increased over time, with over a third of youth approving of it. Many first sexual experiences are unplanned and without protection. The document examines factors influencing premarital sex like culture, media, and lack of sex education. It recommends strengthening family and keeping youth engaged in school and church to help address the issue.
This document discusses how modern Christians know more about the Holy Spirit intellectually than the early church, but the early church experienced the Holy Spirit's power more directly in their lives and ministry. It notes that the apostle Peter performed miraculous acts like speaking in tongues, healing, and raising the dead through the Holy Spirit's power. While Christians today know more about the Trinity and Holy Spirit doctrinally, the document encourages obeying the Spirit, spending time in Scripture, and focusing on Jesus to experience the Spirit's work in powerful ways today.
Outline of message I gave at Cavite on July 24. Much of this is inspired by JD Greear's book Gospel: Recovering The Power That Made Christianity Revolutionary
1) Yangon, Myanmar is known as the "Land of the Pagodas" and Buddhist structures dominate the landscape as the main tourist attractions.
2) The author and family spent June 23-July 1, 2012 in Yangon hoping to bless the Christians there.
3) Most of their time was spent training 34 youth leaders from 12 churches across the city in 3 levels of the GYMN (Growing Youth Ministry Nationally) program to equip them for youth ministry.
The document discusses how to prevent youth from joining cults. It recommends building strong community within youth groups so youth feel purpose, acceptance and belonging. The document also defines cults as deviating from core Christian doctrines and lists common cult characteristics like authoritarian structures and new scripture interpretations.
This document summarizes key differences between relationship-oriented "hot climate" cultures and task-oriented "cold climate" cultures. It discusses how hot climate cultures tend to prioritize relationships and personal connections over efficiency, have an inclusive view of group identity and hospitality, and take a flexible approach to time. In contrast, cold climate cultures emphasize tasks and deadlines over relationships, have a more individualistic view of identity and privacy, and prefer direct communication and a structured approach to time. Understanding these differences can help people interact more effectively with those from other cultures.
The document discusses dealing with technology and video game addiction among youth. It notes that 97% of youth play video games and provides other statistics on gaming habits. While technology can have benefits like developing skills, excessive use has led to deaths from exhaustion. Signs of addiction include failing obligations from excessive gaming. The document recommends making communication a priority, understanding the underlying needs, setting boundaries, and viewing it as a journey rather than a one-time fix. Parents and faith communities are encouraged to assist youth in overcoming addiction.
In 2009, there were several leadership trainings conducted in the Philippines through partnerships with various organizations:
- The first training of the year was held in Metro Manila in partnership with the National Youth Commission.

- The trainings taught the GYMN curriculum and reached over 47 youth leaders, with 15 participants from one training committing to full-time ministry.
This document lists 12 locations across several Asian countries and Philippine cities. The locations include Nepal, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Myanmar, Labo in northern Camarines in the Philippines, Valenzuela City in the Philippines, Boracay island in Aklan province in the Philippines, Quezon City in the Philippines, Caramay in Palawan province in the Philippines, Puerto Princesa in Palawan province in the Philippines, and Malaybalay in Bukidnon province in the Philippines.

m249-saw PMI To familiarize the soldier with the M249 Squad Automatic Weapon ...LinghuaKong2
M249 Saw marksman PMIThe Squad Automatic Weapon (SAW), or 5.56mm M249 is an individually portable, gas operated, magazine or disintegrating metallic link-belt fed, light machine gun with fixed headspace and quick change barrel feature. The M249 engages point targets out to 800 meters, firing the improved NATO standard 5.56mm cartridge. The SAW forms the basis of firepower for the fire team. The gunner has the option of using 30-round M16 magazines or linked ammunition from pre-loaded 200-round plastic magazines. The gunner's basic load is 600 rounds of linked ammunition. The SAW was developed through an initially Army-led research and development effort and eventually a Joint NDO program in the late 1970s/early 1980s to restore sustained and accurate automatic weapons fire to the fire team and squad. When actually fielded in the mid-1980s, the SAW was issued as a one-for-one replacement for the designated "automatic rifle" (M16A1) in the Fire Team. In this regard, the SAW filled the void created by the retirement of the Browning Automatic Rifle (BAR) during the 1950s because interim automatic weapons (e.g. M-14E2/M16A1) had failed as viable "base of fire" weapons.
Early in the SAW's fielding, the Army identified the need for a Product Improvement Program (PIP) to enhance the weapon. This effort resulted in a "PIP kit" which modifies the barrel, handguard, stock, pistol grip, buffer, and sights.
The M249 machine gun is an ideal complementary weapon system for the infantry squad platoon. It is light enough to be carried and operated by one man, and can be fired from the hip in an assault, even when loaded with a 200-round ammunition box. The barrel change facility ensures that it can continue to fire for long periods. The US Army has conducted strenuous trials on the M249 MG, showing that this weapon has a reliability factor that is well above that of most other small arms weapon systems. Today, the US Army and Marine Corps utilize the license-produced M249 SAW.
Many companies have perceived CRM that accompanied by numerous
uncoordinated initiatives as a technological solution for problems in
individual areas. However, CRM should be considered as a strategy when
a company decides to implement it due to its humanitarian, technological
and process-related effects (Mendoza et al., 2007, p. 913). CRM is
evolving today as it should be seen as a strategy for maintaining a longterm relationship with customers.
A CRM business strategy includes the internet with the marketing,
sales, operations, customer services, human resources, R&D, finance, and
information technology departments to achieve the company’s purpose and
maximize the profitability of customer interactions (Chen and Popovich,
2003, p. 673).
After Corona Virus Disease-2019/Covid-19 (Coronavirus) first
appeared in Wuhan, China towards the end of 2019, its effects began to
be felt clearly all over the world. If the Coronavirus crisis is not managed
properly in business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer
(B2C) sectors, it can have serious negative consequences. In this crisis,
companies can typically face significant losses in their sales performance,
existing customers and customer satisfaction, interruptions in operations
and accordingly bankruptcy

This presentation, "The Morale Killers: 9 Ways Managers Unintentionally Demotivate Employees (and How to Fix It)," is a deep dive into the critical factors that can negatively impact employee morale and engagement. Based on extensive research and real-world experiences, this presentation reveals the nine most common mistakes managers make, often without even realizing it.
The presentation begins by highlighting the alarming statistic that 70% of employees report feeling disengaged at work, underscoring the urgency of addressing this issue. It then delves into each of the nine "morale killers," providing clear explanations and illustrative examples.
1. Ignoring Achievements: The presentation emphasizes the importance of recognizing and rewarding employees' efforts, tailored to their individual preferences.
2. Bad Hiring/Promotions & Broken Promises: It reveals the detrimental effects of poor hiring and promotion decisions, along with the erosion of trust that results from broken promises.
3. Treating Everyone Equally & Tolerating Poor Performance: This section stresses the need for fair treatment while acknowledging that employees have different needs. It also emphasizes the importance of addressing poor performance promptly.
4. Stifling Growth & Lack of Interest: The presentation highlights the importance of providing opportunities for learning and growth, as well as showing genuine care for employees' well-being.
5. Unclear Communication & Micromanaging: It exposes the frustration and resentment caused by vague expectations and excessive control, advocating for clear communication and employee empowerment.
The presentation then shifts its focus to the power of recognition and empowerment, highlighting how a culture of appreciation can fuel engagement and motivation. It provides actionable takeaways for managers, emphasizing the need to stop demotivating behaviors and start actively fostering a positive workplace culture.
The presentation concludes with a strong call to action, encouraging viewers to explore the accompanying blog post, "9 Proven Ways to Crush Employee Morale (and How to Avoid Them)," for a more in-depth analysis and practical solutions.
From Concept to reality : Implementing Lean Managements DMAIC Methodology for...Rokibul Hasan
The Ready-Made Garments (RMG) industry in Bangladesh is a cornerstone of the economy, but increasing costs and stagnant productivity pose significant challenges to profitability. This study explores the implementation of Lean Management in the Sampling Section of RMG factories to enhance productivity. Drawing from a comprehensive literature review, theoretical framework, and action research methodology, the study identifies key areas for improvement and proposes solutions.
Through the DMAIC approach (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control), the research identifies low productivity as the primary problem in the Sampling Section, with a PPH (Productivity per head) of only 4.0. Using Lean Management techniques such as 5S, Standardized work, PDCA/Kaizen, KANBAN, and Quick Changeover, the study addresses issues such as pre and post Quick Changeover (QCO) time, improper line balancing, and sudden plan changes.
The research employs regression analysis to test hypotheses, revealing a significant correlation between reducing QCO time and increasing productivity. With a regression equation of Y = -0.000501X + 6.72 and an R-squared value of 0.98, the study demonstrates a strong relationship between the independent variables (QCO downtime and improper line balancing downtime) and the dependent variable (productivity per head).
The findings suggest that by implementing Lean Management practices and addressing key productivity inhibitors, RMG factories can achieve substantial improvements in efficiency and profitability. The study provides valuable insights for practitioners, policymakers, and researchers seeking to enhance productivity in the RMG industry and similar manufacturing sectors.

16. Great Organizer?
mag-relax, kumain, matulog at maging masaya.
17. …‘But God said to him, ‘Fool! This night your soul

prepared, whose will they be?
‘So is the one who lays up treasure for himself
and is not rich toward God.” Luke 12:16-20
