How Do We Pray In This
Pandemic?
Luke 13:1-5
There were some present at that very time who told him about
the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mingled with their
sacrifices. And he answered them, “Do you think that these
Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans,
because they suffered in this way? No, I tell you; but unless you
repent, you will all likewise perish. Or those eighteen on whom
the tower in Siloam fell and killed them: do you think that they
were worse offenders than all the others who lived in
Jerusalem? No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all
likewise perish.”
Pray as though
God is in control—
because He is!
Psalms 46:8-11
Come, behold the works of the
Lord,
how he has brought desolations on
the earth.
He makes wars cease to the end of
the earth;
he breaks the bow and shatters the
spear;
he burns the chariots with fire.
“Be still, and know that I am God.
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!”
The Lord of hosts is with us;
the God of Jacob is our fortress.
Job 1:12
And the Lord said to
Satan, “Behold, all
that he has is in your
hand. Only against
him do not stretch out
your hand.” So Satan
went out from the
presence of the Lord.
What do you think
is God doing in this
pandemic?
Pray as though God
means it to be
personal— because
He does!
Now while he was serving as priest before God when his
division was on duty, according to the custom of the
priesthood, he was chosen by lot to enter the temple of the
Lord and burn incense. And the whole multitude of the
people were praying outside at the hour of incense. And
there appeared to him an angel of the Lord standing on the
right side of the altar of incense. And Zechariah was
troubled when he saw him, and fear fell upon him. But the
angel said to him, “Do not be afraid, Zechariah, for your
prayer has been heard, and your wife Elizabeth will bear
you a son, and you shall call his name John. ~Luke 1:8-13
Pray urgently—
because we don’t know
what tomorrow holds!
