Everyday is a good day for cupcakes!
I would have a sole proprietorship because I prefer to make decisions
by myself and to not have to check with someone else on every
aspect of the business throughout it’s lifespan. Although there would
be much more responsibility, I have always imagined, if I ever owned
my own business, that I would be the main owner, but I would fully
welcome any help from friends and family and any input they would
have for me to help my business be the best it could be.

This space is has roughly 5,000 square feet, which will be plenty for
the needs of my company, for it allows for preparation space, as well
as retail space.
It also charges $24/sf/yr, which is roughly $10,000 a month, which is
high for a starting business , but can be doable with enough income.

We will be targeting the people who have special food needs and can
not always eat cupcakes from other bakeries, such as vegans and
people who eat gluten-free.
We will be in the Johns Creek/Alpharetta area, so there are many
people who do have food allergies and different ways of eating, so
that is why we will be established in this area.

8. MARKET STRUCTURE
We will have a monopolistic structure because there will similar
products elsewhere in the area, but we will have the vegan/GF aspect
to set us apart.
We will be competing against the other cupcake shops in the area.
Potential customers will chose us because of our specialties and
because our bakery will offer them cupcakes that they can actually
eat.
