This document describes the iWizards program at Mercy High School, which gives students unique leadership opportunities to work on technology-related projects. Some of the initial activities of the iWizards included developing a logo and t-shirt, as well as demonstrations at an open house. One of their first projects was creating an orientation for new students on how to use their iPads at school. The program aims to be student-centered, project-oriented, and give students real-world experience with skills like leadership, collaboration, and public speaking. Future plans include expanding tutorial offerings and creating internship opportunities.
