1. MACHINING vs PICKLING
REDOX Series 81 Pickled & Oiled
Below are 1000 power electron microscope pictures of both Pickled
& Oiled and REDOX Series 81 pipe. The cross section shown is
approximately the width of two human hairs.
Note the intergranular corrosion that has occurred on the surface of
this pickled pipe. This will be a source of contamination throughout
the life of the system no matter how long it is flushed.
2. Note the smooth surface of the REDOX Series 81 pipe. The
combination of smoothness and lack of intergranular corrosion will
reduce fabrication and flushing costs. Your customer will enjoy
unparallelled perforce with a system plumbed with REDOX pipe.
