The document discusses why people should become missional/attractional in order to share God's love with others. It notes that God loves people, and as Christians who love God, we should love what God loves. It then outlines how just one effective disciple maker can lead to thousands and eventually millions of people coming to know Christ over time as they disciple others. However, the document notes it is not our responsibility to convert people but to share our faith gently and respectfully. It acknowledges barriers to being missional, like not loving others as much as God does. It encourages examining who we don't like and lists scripture about God's love. It concludes that becoming more effective requires seeing others as those God loves

Today's church should be a place to make disciples, so the longer you study in the church, you should have affinity, peace, kindness, and goodness of Jesus Christ. However, the church congregation we see nowadays is very good at criticizing and judging people with the words of the Bible, but if you discuss the truth with him, they disdain to discuss it with you, so what is wrong with the church? , Is there any room for redemption? If someone asks you why you don’t believe in God, then there is a similar question, that is, why you should believe in God. Many questions are related to the current religious world. The polluted theology when we run church activities, is it in line with the Bible? Are we able to tolerate other people’s suggestions? Whether what we teach has something to do with real life? Do we no longer do continuous follow-ups after we finish teaching? Until those points produce the desired effect, let’s discuss these in depth.

When the church chooses a deacon, it often depends on the person’s reputation. Usually as long as no one speaks badly about him, he can probably pass the test. But what is a good reputation? What causes his good reputation? Even he has a bad reputation, should we give him the same opportunity? Maturing spiritually is an ongoing process; it’s about becoming more Christlike. A continued desire for the pureness of God’s Word helps us grow and mature spiritually.
In order to be born again, we must first hear the Word of God. Then, as we confess Jesus as lord and believe in the heart of our heart that God raised him from the dead, we are born again!
We can delight in learning all that our heavenly Father gives His children—those born again of His spirit—to use and enjoy because of His love and care for us.
In this lesson we continue to exam love and what it does not do. We examine how bragging affected the church at Corinth and the impact it has on the church today as well as our everyday lives. We also examine how to deal with those who constantly boast and are puffed up. Both audio and slides can be found together at www.cmcoc.org

Recently, I heard some radio programs mentioning the challenge of kindness, or how to make spouses happy unilaterally, or how to promote family harmony in remarried families. These were originally based on goodwill as a start, but they all have one common thing. It is to lift a certain person or a certain group of people aloft and take their happiness, anger, sorrow, and joy as the highest goal. On the surface, it seems achievable, but if you look at it from the perspective of the Bible, this is almost impossible to reach. Because this world is not controlled by man, but God is the boss. So if man’s effort does not conform to God’s will, it will become a waste of energy.
Every person has the potential to grow in their knowledge and understanding of God’s magnificent Word, and we can help them grow! We can help people by following Jesus Christ’s example of being a shepherd. As we provide a safe haven conducive for learning and are faithful to teach, we can be those shepherds that people need.

" faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Did you notice that faith involves "evidence" of things "not seen"? The marginal rendering of "substance" is "assurance." Faith involves an assurance "of things hoped for." But, if something is hoped for, that something has not yet been received. Therefore, where faith is involved, there is an assurance that it will be received!

Austin Christian Executives - Welcome Spring 2014austinexec
Slides from the kickoff meeting of the Austin Christian Executives (ACE) 2014 spring semester. Includes a review of ACE history and a challenge to engage with God in your daily business and all parts of life. This process starts by considering how we truly want to be defined by our lives by the end of 2014, by the time we retire, and on our death bed. The challenge then is to move our identity beyond ourselves and into one that is God-defined and Spirit-filled.
A workshop given by Anne Witton at the Bountiful women's conference in Sevenoaks in February 2018. It covers using our gifts in mission, evangelism and social action.
In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.
Homily: The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity Sunday 2024.docxJames Knipper
Countless volumes have been written trying to explain the mystery of three persons in one true God, leaving us to resort to metaphors such as the three-leaf clover to try to comprehend the Divinity. Many of us grew up with the quintessential pyramidal Trinity structure of God at the top and Son and Spirit in opposite corners. But what if we looked at this ‘mystery’ from a different perspective? What if we shifted our language of God as a being towards the concept of God as love? What if we focused more on the relationship within the Trinity versus the persons of the Trinity? What if stopped looking at God as a noun…and instead considered God as a verb? Check it out…

• For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to
be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that
he might be the firstborn among many brothers.
And those whom he predestined he also called, and
those whom he called he also justified, and those
whom he justified he also glorified.-Romans 8:28-30

58. Scripture
• In this the love of God was made manifest among
us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that

God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.-

• One reason that we are ineffective as
missional people is that we do not view
every person that we meet as someone
God loves and as someone who needs
Jesus to save them.

By the time of Ezra and Nehemiah, the people had grown increasingly impatient with Israel’s servile international status and had lapsed into a new set of moral failings. No
longer were they primarily guilty of spiritual depression, lethargy, and apathy. Malachi confronted a culture that was intermarrying with pagans (2:11-15), robbing God of
the commanded tithe (3:8-10), and holding the Sabbath in contempt (2:8-9; 4:4). Furthermore, Israel’s religious leaders (the priests) were corrupt (1:6-2:9) and the people
were inflicting social injustices on the downtrodden in their community (3:5)
