1) The document discusses creating true connections with others in the church by extending "mini-fridge rights" or seeking to know, accept, value, and understand others beyond just close friends and family.
2) It argues that the early church embraced both Jews and Gentiles as equals through Christ, in contrast to the segregated design of the Jewish temple.
3) Several Bible passages are cited teaching the radical inclusiveness of God's kingdom and calling for Christians to value each other based on their shared faith rather than outward attributes.

Pastor Brent identifies three qualifications of an elder to equip the local church to raise up future elders to lead God’s church.
In Titus 1:5 the Apostle Paul directs Titus to appoint elders in every church. These men were to be the leaders of the church that taught sound doctrine and modeled godly living. The question for every local church is, “How do we identify these men?” Or we could also say, “How does God reveal the men whom He has called to be elders?”
In Titus chapter 1, the Apostle Paul gives Titus a set of qualifications to be an elder. Men are to be examined in the local church in the light of these qualifications to test their spiritual character and fitness to serve in this role.
These men must set the example. They must be the Godly men. The spiritual qualities found in the list of qualifications are the same for all believers. However, men qualified to be elders must display spiritual maturity in these areas, men who stand out in the congregation as the Godly men in the church.
In this message, Pastor Brent identifies the first three qualifications to be an elder.

Two special ways of serving in a local church are elders and deacons. Elders are to shepherd the flock, providing protection, nourishment, and leading the flock. They care for the spiritual needs of the saints. The deacons are servants who meet the physical needs of the saints.
Being a wife and mother can be challenging, yet rewarding. The Bible has designed specific roles to the wife and the mother to pursue and live by which will bring forth an abundance of blessings to their marriage and family.

In today's class (March 22) we are beginning in our study of the DOCTRINE OF THE TRINITY.
When is the last time most Christians have studied the Trinity and understand why it is so essential to our Christian faith? The goal in the next few weeks is to better understand and be able as a group to articulate this which comes under our study of the Doctrine of God.

Slide 1: Title: Exploring the Mindfulness: Understanding Its Benefits
Slide 2: Introduction to Mindfulness
Mindfulness, defined as the conscious, non-judgmental observation of the present moment, has deep roots in Buddhist meditation practice but has gained significant popularity in the Western world in recent years. In today's society, filled with distractions and constant stimuli, mindfulness offers a valuable tool for regaining inner peace and reconnecting with our true selves. By cultivating mindfulness, we can develop a heightened awareness of our thoughts, feelings, and surroundings, leading to a greater sense of clarity and presence in our daily lives.
Slide 3: Benefits of Mindfulness for Mental Well-being
Practicing mindfulness can help reduce stress and anxiety levels, improving overall quality of life.
Mindfulness increases awareness of our emotions and teaches us to manage them better, leading to improved mood.
Regular mindfulness practice can improve our ability to concentrate and focus our attention on the present moment.
Slide 4: Benefits of Mindfulness for Physical Health
Research has shown that practicing mindfulness can contribute to lowering blood pressure, which is beneficial for heart health.
Regular meditation and mindfulness practice can strengthen the immune system, aiding the body in fighting infections.
Mindfulness may help reduce the risk of chronic diseases such as type 2 diabetes and obesity by reducing stress and improving overall lifestyle habits.
Slide 5: Impact of Mindfulness on Relationships
Mindfulness can help us better understand others and improve communication, leading to healthier relationships.
By focusing on the present moment and being fully attentive, mindfulness helps build stronger and more authentic connections with others.
Mindfulness teaches us how to be present for others in difficult times, leading to increased compassion and understanding.
Slide 6: Mindfulness Techniques and Practices
Focusing on the breath and mindful breathing can be a simple way to enter a state of mindfulness.
Body scan meditation involves focusing on different parts of the body, paying attention to any sensations and feelings.
Practicing mindful walking and eating involves consciously focusing on each step or bite, with full attention to sensory experiences.
Slide 7: Incorporating Mindfulness into Daily Life
You can practice mindfulness in everyday activities such as washing dishes or taking a walk in the park.
Adding mindfulness practice to daily routines can help increase awareness and presence.
Mindfulness helps us become more aware of our needs and better manage our time, leading to balance and harmony in life.
Slide 8: Summary: Embracing Mindfulness for Full Living
Mindfulness can bring numerous benefits for physical and mental health.
Regular mindfulness practice can help achieve a fuller and more satisfying life.

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

12. EPHESIANS 2:11-13 (MSG)
But don’t take any of this for granted. It
was only yesterday that you outsiders
to God’s ways had no idea of any of
this, didn’t know the first thing about
the way God works, hadn’t the faintest
idea of Christ. You knew nothing of
that rich history of God’s covenants
and promises in Israel, hadn’t a clue
about what God was doing in the world
at large. Now because of Christ—
dying that death, shedding that
blood—you who were once out of it
altogether are in on everything.
KAVU
13. EPHESIANS 2:14-15 (MSG)
The Messiah has made things up
between us so that we’re now together
on this, both non-Jewish outsiders and
Jewish insiders. He tore down the wall
we used to keep each other at a
distance. He repealed the law code that
had become so clogged with fine print
and footnotes that it hindered more than
it helped. Then he started over. Instead
of continuing with two groups of people
separated by centuries of animosity and
suspicion, he created a new kind of
human being, a fresh start for
everybody.
14. EPHESIANS 2:16-19 (MSG)
Christ brought us together through his death
on the cross. The Cross got us to embrace,
and that was the end of the hostility. Christ
came and preached peace to you outsiders and
peace to us insiders. He treated us as equals,
and so made us equals. Through him we both
share the same Spirit and have equal access to
the Father.
That’s plain enough, isn’t it? You’re no longer
wandering exiles. This kingdom of faith is now
your home country. You’re no longer strangers
or outsiders. You belong here, with as much
right to the name Christian as anyone. God is
building a home. He’s using us all—
irrespective of how we got here—in what he
is building.
God is building a
house and using all of
us to build it.
15. EPHESIANS 2:20-22 (MSG)
He used the apostles and
prophets for the foundation.
Now he’s using you, fitting you
in brick by brick, stone by
stone, with Christ Jesus as the
cornerstone that holds all the
parts together. We see it taking
shape day after day—a holy
temple built by God, all of us
built into it, a temple in which
God is quite at home.
