Steps What’s the benefit
Step 1 Cleanse
face with Glycolic Age
Diff. Cleanser
Glycolic acid is a Alpha Hydroxy Acid which allows the outer layer of
skin to be penetrated so the acid can reach the second layer of skin
and the living cell walls. Glycolic acid is unique because it is
comprised of extremely small molecules, thus allowing the glycolic
acid to easily penetrate the skin and the cells that make up the
skin. This type of absorption is called bioavailability.
Step 2 Tone with
Glycolic Toner 7%
Glycolic acid is a Alpha Hydroxy Acid which allows the outer layer of skin to be
penetrated so the acid can reach the second layer of skin and the living cell
walls. Glycolic acid is unique because it is comprised of extremely small
molecules, thus allowing the glycolic acid to easily penetrate the skin and the
cells that make up the skin. This type of absorption is called bioavailability.
Glycolic acid can reduce acne, reduce the size of pores, minimize the
appearance of wrinkles, refine the texture of your skin, and exfoliate. It is also
used to clear black-heads, white-heads, bumps, age spots, dry skin, and
eczema. Dead skin cells and dirt combine to clog up the pores on the face, and
acne or dry looking skin is the unwanted result of that build-up.
NOTE: The Difference Between Alpha and Beta Hydroxy Acids
There is only one beta hydroxy acid - salicylic acid. The main
difference between alpha hydroxy acids and beta hydroxy acid is
their lipid (oil) solubility. Alpha hydroxy acids are water soluble only,
while beta hydroxy acid is lipid (oil) soluble. This means that beta
hydroxy acid is able to penetrate into the pore which contains sebum
and exfoliate the dead skin cells that are built up inside the pore.
5. Step 3 (2 or 3 Layers of Glycolic 30%)
apply 1st layer of peel
wait 3 minutes apply 2nd
layer of peel
Chemical peels don't really peel the skin, despite what the name
implies. They rapidly exfoliate the skin, allowing dead skin cells to
shed more effectively. This allows new plump, hydrated wrinkle
free skin to be more exposed giving a more youthful appearance.
Thoroughly Rinse with water
Step 4 Neutralize peel with
water then a layer of
Neutralizer Solution
Next, the peel is removed with a neutralizing agent. The skin
is dried and the peel is complete.
Step 5 Delicate Booster Serum
followed by Delicate Skin
Calming Gel Mask
Calming and hydrating, this mask will supply the skin with botanicals
to increase hydration and deliver calming and soothing benefits post
treatment.
Sepicalm™ VG- Sepicalm™ VG is a unique union between
palmitoylproline and water lily flower extract created to calm and
soothe irritated and stressed skin. It is proven to decrease cutaneous
pigmentation induced by inflammatory stress (UV, irritation,
pollution and acne) or through the aging process. In vivo testing
results show that Sepicalm™ VG soothes the skin and rids it of a
stinging effect, caused by aggressive chemicals like lactic acid, by 45%
compared to those without Sepicalm™ VG. In addition to soothing
chemical stress on the skin,
• Neutrazen™-This lipopeptide can help prevent and reverse signs of
inflammation and calm and soothe irritated skin. It can also help to
maintain and restore a normal skin sensitivity threshold. It can offer
soothing care for cosmetically treated skin by decreasing the
sensitivity of neuromediator cells. In vitro, in vivo, and clinical tests
have shown a reduction in skin sensitivity and irritation response
activity.
Step 6 Exfoliating Scrub (opt.) This is an excellent second step to exfoliation
following the chemical process. Physical
exfoliation using pumice will increase the cellular
turnover and continue to remove dead skin cells
to maximize benefit and progress to healthy skin.
6. Step 8 Mask Booster Serum/
Masks are the next step to deliver long lasting active
ingredients for increased skin repair. Step 8 starts
with a highly concentrated serum to be applied
followed by a highly active mask. Masks should be
remain on the face for approximately 10 to 15
minutes then rinse off
Step 9 Youth Transformation Corr. Serum
Serums are high performance light weight emulsions. The next step to
a great experience is using serums to achieve the desired result.
Peptides Matrixyl® 3000- Contain matrikines, which are messengers of
cutaneous reconstruction and repair. They activate the neo-synthesis
extracellular matrix macromolecules thereby providing Matrixyl® 3000
with a visible anti-wrinkle efficacy. Studies show a 45% wrinkle
reduction over a 2 month period of time and a 20% positive effect on
skin tone and elasticity. Plant based stem cells like Grape Fruit Stem
Cell Extract –Are high in antioxidants, this powerful age fighter helps
to repair the signs of aging resulting in skin that has a more youthful
appearance and reducing crepiness around the eye. Derived from the
Solar Vitis (red grape), it can offer excellent protection against UV-
stress and damage occurring from sun exposure.
Step 10 Eye treatment
Several factors play into the signs of aging around the eyes. There
could be fine line and wrinkles, hyper-pigmentation, under eye
puffiness, and dark circles. Haloxyl®- activate sthe elimination of
blood originated pigments responsible for dark circle color and local
inflammation. •Eyeliss®- is a global treatment for puffy eyes based on
the association of 3 actives that target specific physiological
deficiencies. The combination of these 3 active molecules decreases
capillary permeability, improves lymphatic circulation and improves
firmness and elasticity. The application of this product is intended to
reduce under eye puffiness. Clinical studies have shown improvement
for 70% of volunteers and in vitro tests have shown a marked
reduction in inflammation and an increase in stimulation of dipeptide
VW.
7. Step 11 Moisturizers
Moisturizers are considered the primary product to add the final layer of active
ingredients and to “lock” in benefits of the treatment. At this point you have
your final opportunity to deliver an increased layer of active ingredients or add
an additional of active ingredients to complete the custom protocol.
Matrixyl® 3000- Contains matrikines, which are messengers of cutaneous
reconstruction and repair. They activate the neo-synthesis extracellular matrix
macromecules thereby providing Matrixyl® 3000 with a visible anti-wrinkle
efficacy. Studies show a 45% wrinkle reduction over a 2 month period of time
and a 20% positive effect on skin tone and elasticity. The interaction of
matrikines with specific receptors helps activate certain genes involved in the
process of extracellular matrix renewal and cell proliferation. There was also a
noticeable improvement in wrinkle density, wrinkle depth, volume and
roughness.
•Lavandox-Derived from the lavender flower, Lavandox is made of selected
molecules of Spanish lavender oil (Lavandula stoechas). A specific process
extracts desirable molecules. Results for application of 1.0% Lavandox showed
approximately 11% reduction in wrinkles after 24 hours and 13% reduction
after 7 days. In Vivo testing shows wrinkle reduction in 24 hours.
•PhytoCellTec™ Malus Domectica- A cell proliferation enhancer, studies have
shown this extract to target specific genes involved in the delay of senescense
of dermal fibroblasts. Protection against oxidative stress and repair of DNA
are upregulated by Malus Domesitca Stem Cell Extract. Two daily applications
of the test cream containing 2% PhytoCellTec™ Malus Domestica over 28 days
resulted in a significant decrease in wrinkle depth in all of the volunteers
tested.
Step 12 Sunscreen
The final, and most critical, is to apply a sunscreen to protect the
treated area from UV rays. UV rays are the most destructive
environmental factor to skin. Please remember after exfoliation,
micro dermabrasion, lasers or any other kind of dermatological
procedure, new skin needs to be protected. Please apply your choice
of sunscreens for effective protection from the sun’s rays.

13. M.A.D Stacking
What is M.A.D Stacking? – The combining of 2 or more M.A.D treatment
products from different skin concern categories during a single
application
Why should I M.A.D Stack? – Able to address multiple skin concerns in a
single pass. Delivery of more active ingredients for an amplified effect
giving the skin more active ingredients to benefit from.
Visible benefits immediately following the facial.
Greater chance to sell a retail item for home care use.
20. M.A.D Layering
• What is M.A.D Layering? – M.A.D Layering is the
application of 1 to 3 layers of different chemical peels or
masks from different skin concern protocols.
• Why should I layer? Layering gives you the opportunity to
deliver a broader set of active ingredients during the
exfoliation point or directly after with the treatment masks.
The skin is at its best to absorb and utilize after a thorough
cleansing and tone has been achieved.
