Career Objective
Completed a HND in accounts and finance, receiving two A’s and a B. Volunteered two days a week at
Andrew Philip Chartered Accountants for nine weeks whilst on maternity leave, in order to gain work
experience. Currently completing level 3 in AAT whilst working at Andrew Philip CA’s. Main aim to
become a chartered accountant – member of CIMA but would be open to do ICAS or Certified
accountant - ACCA. Seeking full time employment.
Personal Profile
Experience using Sage payroll, Sage Accounts 50 and CCH software.
Competent in using Microsoft word, Word perfect and Excel.
Gained two awards for advanced craft in painting and decorating and was nominated for and
achievement award whilst doing highers at Aberdeen College.
Charity work – volunteered at a wild life ranch in South Africa for two weeks & done a sponsored
tandem skydive for the SSPCA raising over £400.
Excellent customer service; received good feedback on customer survey on many occasions including in
first month of occupation.
Can do attitude, thrive on having responsibility, quick and eager to learn and enjoy a challenge.

A small accounting firm that takes on accountancy work for Limited companies, Soletraders and
Partnerships. My duties included
 Processing payroll using Sage 50 payroll software, Bookkeeping using Sage 50 Accounts.
 Processing fee notes using CCH software.
 Preparing personal & corporation tax returns
 Preparing Draft accounts using Excel spreadsheets and entering final accounts into CCH software.
 Completing P11D benefits and expenses form for clients using P11D software.

A very busy customer orientated company, with a large number of customers wanting informative and
honest advice on the pets and product sold.
 Self-discipline - having to pass a large number of tests within a set time, to be able to give advice on
