• Shutdown Planning; including manpower and equipment loading. Organize contractor activities for
upcoming plant shut down.
• Act as liason between operations and construction group with assisting in obtaining
permits for hot work in the existing plant and MCCs as well as the construction look aheads
and coordination of shutdowns and tie-ins.
• Foresee issues that will arise during turn-arounds and come up with workable solutions.
• Ability to manage critical/emergency situations.
• Leader and mentor of a strong safety culture including reporting, investigations, and chairing
meetings.
• Effectively change a non-compliant safety program into one of a positive safety culture.
• Possess an uncompromising commitment to the values of safety, integrity, teamwork and
the environment.
• Lead daily tail-gate meetings; as well as running weekly and monthly safety meetings.
• Proven time management skills, multi-tasking and the ability to successfully handle
multiple projects with constantly changing priorities.
• Strong computer knowledge; including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Entrophy,
and CMMS Operating system.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
