1. Eren films a video on his phone late at night in which he claims to have seen a monster in his town and believes it is chasing him. He sends the video to his friend Eddie as a cry for help before seemingly being attacked by the monster. 2. The next day, Eddie's friend Erdem receives the disturbing video from Eren. Though he initially believes it is a prank, he goes to investigate the location where Eren filmed. Erdem discovers signs of blood and realizes something terrible actually happened to Eren. 3. As Erdem comes to this realization, he too is attacked and seemingly killed by the monster, paralleling the fate of his friend Eren from the

FADE IN:
THE ENTRY
EXT. HIGH STREET – RINGWOOD – NIGHT
In the town center centre – this is the American spell
check of Ringwood at night, everyone is at home and
streets are empty. In an alleyway the camera (phone) being
picked up by a young boy.
He looks at the camera as the light from the phone shines
his face up. He looks worried as he looks at the camera.
He then hears a roar from a distance, he looks behind to
see where the noise is coming from and sees Change to and
he notices the shadow of a monster the monster’s shadow.
EREN
Oh, crap!!
He change to Eren starts running with the phone in his
hand, still recording, around the town center looking for a
place to hide. He stops and looks around, hears the roar
again and keeps running.
He stops in a dark alley breathless, and stops moving as he
sees change to he sees the monster’s shadow again. The
monster proceeds to leave the alley. Eren then looks at the
phone again and starts recording himself.
EREN
This is good – dialogue and speaking to
camera idea
Eddie look listen to me carefully, there
is a something in town, do you remember
the rumour about the monster in town? It’s
real. Trust me, you have to call someone,
the police, the government, anyone!
He hears the roar, he realises that the monster is coming
getting closer, tears start rolling down from her Eren’s

EREN(CONT’D)
Eddy Eddie , the monster is coming closer,
I don’t think I can make it out of here,
it is too close I’ve got no way out. Tell
my mum I love her.
He sends the video to his mate Eddie and he lets out a sigh
and looks slightly relaxed. Then he hears the monster’s
growl rally really close to him. He drops the phone, he
turns his head to the monster and starts screaming as the
monster roars.
CUT TO:
EXT. STREETS OF RINGWOOD – DAY TIME – NEXT DAY OR CHANGE
LOCATION
Shots of people around Ringwood town center.centre Then
shots of Erdem eren walking with his backpack. He goes to
where his bike is and unlocks it.
He then ERDEM instead of he Eren mounts his bike on his
bike and puts on his headphones and starts cycling.
Multiple shots of Erdem cycling until he gets home. He gets
off of the bike and puts the bike in the shed and gets
inside the house.
He Erdem puts his bag down and jumps on his bed. Takes his
phone out of his pocket and checks his messages. He puts
the phone away and yawns and relaxes.
Footage of him closing his eyes and dropping his hand to
the ground from the bed. The screen goes black.

INT. INSIDE OF ERDEM’S HOUSE – NIGHT

Erdem Eren - I’M A BIT CONFUSED IS Erdem a separate
person? I think the names are too similar and it would be
better to come up with a totally different name to avoid
confusion here? wakes up from a nap having a bad dream. He
takes a look at his phone to find that he’s got lots of
messages from Eren and a video from WHATSUPP. He looks at
the messages.
ERDEM
What the hell?
He goes to his WHATSUPP and opens the video. He watches
Eren’s message video might sound better?talking about the
monster in town. Don’t think you need this as we already
know it’s about the monster – so it’s a bit of repetition
After he finishes watching the video he looks shocked and
confused.
He then smirks.
ERDEM
(smirking)
Huh, really funny Eren.
He goes on the table and turns on his PC. He throws his
phone on the bed, he remove this takes a deep breath as the
PC turns on. When it does his homework comes up.not sure
this makes sense – explain He takes his books out to do
his homework but stops, he thinks about his friend’s
message.
ERDEM
Uhh, for god’s sake.
He gets up and takes his phone from the bed, calls his
friend, no answer. So he opens the message again and
listens to him again. Watches? It’s not clear from just
listening how he would know where Eren is He takes a look
around where Eren is and realizes it’s in Ringwood Town.
He decides to go and take a lot at the location that his
friend had filmed himself.
He gets puts on his headphones and leaves the house. He
walks to Ringwood town, multiple shots of Erdem until he

gets close. Before arriving to the location he takes his
phone out and looks at the video again and starts going to
the first place where Eren picks the phone up at the
beginning of the video.
When he gets to the location he looks around the place.
Erdem smirks.
ERDEM
I knew it, I knew it was all just a joke.
He then decides to go and have a look at the place where
the video finishes. As he is walking there he starts
talking loudly, calling for his friend.
ERDEM
(loudly)
That’s really funny Eren, very funny. Who
else is in this? Huh? Max? Ali? Who else
is involved?
He walks to the location where Eren was murdered. When he
gets there he finds blood stains all over the place. His
facial expression quickly changes from disappointment into
fear and confusing. He slowly walks backwards.
ERDEM
No, it can’t be.
He then hears a roar behind him. He starts running for his
life. The monster follows him. He runs around town, trying
to find a place to escape. But the monster follows him
until he gets into a dark alley and gets stuck.
The monster closes in, his shadow in seen on Erdem, the
screen goes dark and the monster roars as Erdem screams.
