1) Damien Ridgeway is released from prison and begins stalking his daughter Lucy, leaving a music box that plays a lullaby at her house. 2) Lucy is terrified by Ridgeway's presence and the music box, which only she can hear. 3) When a police officer comes to investigate, Ridgeway kills him. Ridgeway is now inside Lucy's house as she pleads for help in a video diary, and the music box plays its lullaby.

1. LULLABY
SCRIPT
EXT. POLICE STATION/COURT ROOM – DAY
SARGENT MILLER and DETETIVE INSPECTOR CONNOR arrest DAMIEN
RIDGEWAY and take him inside to face trial and sentencing
while you can hear diegetic sound of reports. A wide shot will
be used to set the scene and show the characters movements.
INSERT; A newspaper front page will be spread across the
screen with the heading ‘Ridgeway Released’
EXT. OUTSIDE A SCHOOL- DAY
LUCY is walking out of school and down the school entrance, we
see RIDGEWAY in the car looking at a picture of a young LUCY,
he is on the phone and he rings LUCY, she looks at the phone
(it says Dad), LUCY picks up the phone.
LUCY:
I don’t want anything to do with you
LUCY hangs up the phone and continues walking. However, she
doesn’t see him and just carries on her path. RIDGEWAY
scrunches up the photo. An over the shoulder shot used
(RIDGEWAY’S shoulder)
EXT. LUCY’S HOUSE- EVENING

2. LUCY’S parents are preparing to drive for a weekend away,
leaving LUCY alone.
STEP-FATHER:
We will be back on Sunday evening honey, stay safe
MOTHER:
We will call you when we arrive, you have everything you need,
bye
(hugs LUCY)
LUCY:
Goodbye, have a good time
(LUCY’S parents get into their car and start to drive away,
LUCY waves)
LUCY turns and starts to walk towards the front door, LUCY
hears a diegetic sound and turns to look. LUCY ponders for a
second then walks into the house. An establishing shot is used
to show the house.
INT. LUCY’S BEDROOM- NIGHT
LUCY is sitting at her desk on her laptop doing some school
work. A Mid-Shot is used to show her working and the window
behind her.
LUCY is working away when suddenly she hears an old music box
on her window sill, it is playing an lullaby which LUCY has
never heard before. LUCY gets out of her chair and walks over
to the music box, LUCY picks up the box and investigates why
it suddenly played the music. As LUCY looks at the box, she

3. sees RIDGEWAY through the window on her driveway, she freezes
and stares at him with a gaunt look on her face. There is a
flick of light which goes out and RIDGEWAY disappears.
INT. LUCY’S BEDROOM- NIGHT
LUCY is asleep in her bed, we can hear the sound of a rocking
chair rock. As the camera pulls out we see RIDGEWAY rocking in
the chair watching LUCY sleep. RIDGEWAY is holding the music
box in his hands, it slowly winds up and starts to play the
lullaby. LUCY suddenly wakes up in fear and turns on her light
and RIDGEWAY is gone, however, the music box is still playing
while sitting on the still rocking, rocking chair.
INT./EXT.- LUCY’S FRONT DOOR
LUCY is looking out of her window as she sees the police car
pull up. LUCY answers the door to the SAERGENT GREEN.
GREEN:
Hello Madam, I had a telephone call from this address stating
they have been seeing a strange gentleman on the property, may
I come in and ask you some questions?
LUCY:
(Looking scared) Hello, urmm yes of course officer please…..
The lullaby from the music box plays and LUCY begins to
retreat in fear and start to breathe heavily.
LUCY:

4. It’s the lullaby, I can hear the lullaby
GREEN:
Sorry Madam, I cannot hear anything
LUCY looks back to GREEN and behind him she sees RIDGEWAY.
LUCY points out to him then turns and runs. GREEN turns to
look where LUCY was pointing and he sees no one, as he turns
back to enter the house he is faced up to by RIDGEWAY.
RIDGEWAY moves towards GREEN suddenly (Goes to black). (Fades
in) We see the dead body of GREEN on the doorstep.
MONTAGE:

INT.- LUCY’S BEDROOM- NIGHT
LUCY is on the laptop and she is doing a video diary entry
LUCY:
(Scared and Agitated) He’s here, he’s inside, who is he? Why
is he after me? Why my music box? Someone help me please
please.

5. LUCY holds the music box and opens it, the lullaby plays and
we see RIDGEWAY walks into the light from the darkness in the
room. (To black)
The title fades onto the screen
INT.- LUCY’S BEDROOM
We see the music box playing and across the screen the
subtitle saying ‘What will you do when you hear the Lullaby’
Suddenly we see RIDGEWAY’S face flash forward on the screen.
