LIEUTENANT COLONEL MARC A. DAUTEUIL
Lieutenant Colonel Marc A. Dauteuil is the F-16 Program
Element Monitor for Air Combat Command and the Combat Air
Forces. He leads a 12-person team to define, organize, and
articulate CAF requirements into a unified position for over 1,000
F-16s. He is also the F-16 Harm Targeting System Program
Element Monitor and is directly responsible for execution of
$2.8B for combat enhancing modernization/sustainment
portfolios for both programs. He is the focal point manager for
F-16 operational, logistics and maintenance matters to include
deficiencies and acquisitions while developing CAF funding
strategy and overseeing unit/aircraft activation and conversion,
including managing the F-16 fleet as the F-35 is fielded.
Lt. Col. Dauteuil was commissioned in the Air Force in 1993 with
a bachelor of science in aerospace engineering from the
University of Notre Dame. He has served as an instructor and
evaluator pilot, safety officer, flight commander, executive officer,
joint staff officer, fighter squadron assistant director of
operations, Chief of Wing Plans and Inspections, F-16 squadron
director of operations, T-6 squadron director of operations, T-6
squadron commander in one of only two squadrons in the Air
Force employing joint officers to train the newest aviators for the
Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps, and deputy commander of a
JSUPT Operations Group. His deployments include a tour as the chief of safety and flight safety officer for the
332nd Expeditionary Fighter Wing at Tallil Airbase, Iraq in 2003, as well as a tour with the 77th Expeditionary
Fighter Squadron flying combat missions out of Balad AB, Iraq in 2008. Most recently, Lt Col Dauteuil was the
Director of Operations for the 79th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron during their deployment as the first Block 50
F-16 squadron in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM out of Bagram AB, Afghanistan. Lt Col Dauteuil
is a command pilot with more than 2,500 flying and 300 combat hours.
