3 Skills Learned:
• How to align and justify text
Home ribbon options give you the choice to center, left align, right align, and justify your text. In the
paragraph tool box!
• Shortcuts to copy and pasting EX: Ctrl C –copy
There are many unknown shortcuts such as pasting, Ctrl V, also there is Undo which is Ctrl Z.
• Adding headers and footers and margin sizing
In the page layout tab it shows a margins drop box, that is where you control your margin size. In the insert
tab, you have the icons headers and footers. That is where you add it.

4. Excel
• Learned how to create charts and
graphs properly on a program
• How to put in and use formulas
• Navigate between spreadsheets

5. Access
• How to mail merge
• Create invoices
• Categorize information based on
certain characteristics

6. PowerPoint
• How to make title slide
• Slide Transitions
• Insert ClipArt

7. Prezi
• Create professional looking
paths in a presentation
• Organize information in a
more efficient way
• Frames and Grouping

8. SlideShare
• How to interact with other users’ public profiles and presentations
• Collaborate into social media, such as Facebook andTwitter..
• Allows viewers to download your file

9. A year in BIM has certainly changed
the way I do my school work, but
more importantly how professional
my projects look. Going from Word to
Prezi was a huge change, but
throughout all the programs we
used, the skills we used in the one
prior were definitely sufficient to use
in the following program. Skills were
never unused! This class kept you
busy and on your toes at all times!
