The software used to produce the newspaper advert was ProCut on Apple Macs. Sony HD camcorders were used to film interviews and the sex quiz that required clear sound, while flip cams captured film without sound, like behind voiceovers. All editing was done on the Mac. The research was conducted mainly using online sources like YouTube and newspapers. Music for the project was composed by a friend using sound editing software on the Mac. Mobile phones and flip cams were used to plan and capture production meetings and audience feedback. The documentary was posted on YouTube and Facebook to receive feedback and comments from the target age group audience.
