1. Dance Studio
Above are the letter of which we
will send to the respective people,
these will ask if we can film shots
at certain times as well as what for.
The first of which is the dance
studio, this is a great idea for our
performance shots as the room
was purpose built for dancing with
lots of space to do so; the dance
studio will also be very easy to
transform from a boring looking
area of space to a filled, fun and
vibrant looking space where the
dancers can dance with the artist
for cut-aways in our music video.
The space does not only allow us
to use it for the dancing but also
allows us to have different shot
types, such as a tracking shot of
the artist lip synching, walking
towards the camera while the
dancers dance behind her.
The dance studio will be transformed in a very
simplistic way, adding pink and white balloons
which the dancers and artist will perform and
interact with. The white walls and mirrors will
make the space look welcoming and bright, the
mirrors will help reflect the light if we decide on
using any coloured lights. With the mirrors it can
allow us to use a pan shot from where the
camera will use the mirror to start with for
filming them, then pan around to film them in
real nature view.

2. Creams café
The second location is Creams located in Croydon, the reason for choosing this
location is due to the fact that it has a 1950's vintage theme to it which fits
perfectly in with our theme for our video. As it sells ice creams here and has a
restaurant layout, this would be perfect for some of our shots as we had the idea
of the artist and male companion sit together facing each other and then cut to
her lip syncing; by adding to the table with ice creams, props, this makes the scene
look more real and genuine instead of having a false looking table with nothing on
it. Creams in Croydon has pink décor which links in with our genre, artist look and
girly vibe to attract a girl based audience.

3. Bedroom
Finally, the third location is the artist house, the bedroom. The bedroom location
seems to fit well in with our artist look as well as being real it gives the impression
that this scene is real and will connect to the audience due to it looking familiar for
them as their own. The décor of the bedroom is great as it fits in with the look and
genre of the video; the wallpaper is pink which will make the video look more
conventional as well as looking more girly which will attract more of our target
audience. This location will be filled with old vintage props as well as being the
location of which the artist is having a fun time in getting ready for going out. One
idea of the use of lip synching during this scene is that the artist, Ava, is talking to
herself in the mirror when getting ready or to a friend in the room with her.
