Sarah's house provided a convenient location for an interview with Sarah due to her disability. It gave the scene a warm, homely feeling and showed the bond between Sarah and her hearing dog. Milly's garden was originally chosen for its relaxed atmosphere and pretty surroundings, but poor weather required relocating to a classroom. The classroom offered peace and quiet for good sound quality, space for the dog to run, and had been pre-approved as a backup location due to contingency planning for bad weather.

2. Sarahs House

3. Sarah's house was the easiest place to think
of a location, due to her disability it was
much more practical to just hold the
interview at her house, this gave a homely a
loving feel to the scene and particuly showed
the bond Sarah and wheat share.

4. Millys Garden

5. Millys garden was originally our first choice
for the hearing dog interview but the
weather was poor so we had to relocate to a
classroom. We chose Millys garden because it
had a nice relaxed feeling and the
surrounding area is very pretty.

7. Unfortunately on the day of filming the
weather was poor sop we resorted to filming
the interview in a classroom. However this
was not our first choice it offered piece and
quiet so the sound quality is extremely good.
It had enough space for the dog to run around
in and let out some steam without getting
too cramped and anxious. We had already
planned for events like the bad weather and
had done risk assessments and gained
permission from our head of sixth form and
head of school for such events and the use of
the classroom if necessary.
