LocalForage is a JavaScript library that allows for asynchronous storage of data in browsers via IndexedDB, WebSQL, and localStorage. It supports storing common data types like strings, numbers, blobs and arrays as well as custom data types. The library can be installed via Bower and provides asynchronous methods for setting, getting, and removing items from storage.
