The document discusses plans to recreate the music video for a popular but criticized song by singer-songwriter Paolo Nutini. The proposed video would follow a teenage boy who gains confidence when putting on a new pair of shoes and is ready to take on the day. It aims to relate to the song's lyrics without directly recreating the original. The production will target mainstream audiences and follow conventions of the genre. It provides budgets for equipment, facilities, travel and crew needed.

This is my evaluation of my A2 Media Products. In my evaluation I have compared my products to existing products and explained conventions in my chosen genre.
1. Paolo Nutini is a well astablished singer songwriter across the world. He had hit
singles with ‘Jenny Don’t be Hasty’, ‘Rewind’ and ‘Pencil Full of Lead’. However,
one of his more populr songs received critisism for it’s simple music video.
Therefore, I am going to re-create a music video for this song to gain more
recognition for the artist and myself as video producer.
The music video I am going to create follows the life of a male teenager whos
seems to be going through some hard times. However, when he wakes up and
slips into to his brand new pair of shoes, he becomes more confident within
himself and is ready to take on the day. I don’t want my video to be a reinactment
of the original but want it to relate to the song lyrics which may make some
similarities between mine and the original.
My advert will be targeted at mainstreamers. This is partly because this category
of people already enjoy and listen to this genre of music. However, as it is a very
broard and popular category, it may be difficult to create something that appeals
to everyone. The obvious way to tackle this problem is to follow the codes and
conventions of existing music videos of this genre.
