This document summarizes a project to evaluate the storage and transfer of liquefied natural gas (LNG) using an integrated refrigeration and storage system. The project retrofitted an existing 400 liter cryogenic vessel with a cryocooler to study LNG behavior during storage, including weathering and stratification. Testing was conducted between 2017-2019 and involved boil-off testing, measuring gas and liquid composition changes, and analyzing density, heating value, and methane loss variations. Results were presented at conferences and published in conference proceedings.
