• Accredited Kanban Trainers are qualified to teach Kanban
University certified Kanban in a classroom environment
(public or private classes)
 Train the Trainer class
 Present a case study
 Present Kanban University materials in class exercises
 Quizzes on Kanban knowledge
 Evaluated on demonstrated ability to understand and communicate
the Kanban University course materials. May be accredited for 0 to 3
class types.
 Decide on trainer type and sign AKT Program Agreement
 Pre-paid student fees (where applicable)

30. Purchasing Power Parity (PPP) calculation
• The PPP is calculated based on cost of living index, developer
salary comparisons, and currency rate.
• Annual minimum student fee level is determined by base
location of the AKT.
• Student fees for each class are determined by the class
location.
• Licensed Training Org annual fee is adjusted for some regions,
determined by organization base location.
• PPP rate regional index is available.
• Applies to certificate fees. You may consider it in class pricing.

33. SwiftKanban and Kanbanize AKT Referral Program
• AKTs will be able to get access to a personal license
to use both Kanbanize and SwiftKanban
• AKTs can refer clients to either SwiftKanban or to
Kanbanize and will receive a referral fee of 15% of
the revenues received over the first 24 months.
• In the case of the ESP module for SwiftKanban, the
referral fee will be 25% of the revenues received.

38. AKT Rules & Requirements
• Must use Kanban University standard materials.
• Can’t claim things are Kanban University certified that aren’t.
• Can’t offer no-cert version of the same class or learning outcomes.
• If a class could be certified, it should be.
• Payment of student fees must be made Net30.
• Meet annual student minimum (if applicable)
• Participate in kanban community development
• Can’t create or participate in a competing “certified kanban
program” (Scrum.org PSK program okay)
• Must represent Kanban University favorably. Bring questions and
