2. LINKING WORDS
 Linking words , also known as " connectors"
are words that link or relate two ideas within a
sentence (connecting two clauses ) or within a
paragraph (connecting two sentences ).

4. BUT is used to join two words or pharases when the
secon one has the opposite meaning.
They show contrast (unexpected result).
 Example
It was cold, but I went swimming aniway

following expressions.
 Shortly after/before; a short time after/Before; a
little while after/ before; soon after.}

 We use AS when two things happen at the
same time.
 Example
