The Town of Hampton is voting on whether to appropriate $126,812 to replace the fan coils, thermostats, and carpet at the Lane Library. The fan coils and thermostats were installed in 1985 and costly maintenance has been required. Replacing the 30 year old carpet on the first floor is also proposed. If approved, the funds would not lapse until the work is completed by March 2017.

1. Shall the Town of Hampton vote to raise and appropriate the
sum of $126,812.00 for the purpose of making the following
improvements to the Lane Library: a) to replace the fan coils
and thermostats throughout the building; b) to replace the carpet
on the first floor. This shall be a non-lapsing appropriation per
RSA 32:7, VI and will not lapse until the purpose of this article
is completed or by March 31, 2017, whichever is sooner?
