Libraries provide important resources and support for teens. They help bridge digital divides by providing internet access. They also help teens make sense of the massive amount of information available and teach important information literacy skills. Libraries give teens access to popular materials like books, movies, music and magazines that they enjoy but may not be able to afford otherwise. Librarians must advocate for teen services and programs within their communities to help teens develop into responsible adults.
