Libo Lijiang Scenic Area is located in Libo County, Weinan Buyi and
Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province, with a total area of
118.8 square kilometers. It consists of the Big and Small Seven-hole
Scenic Area, the Shuichun River Scenic Area and the Lancang River
Scenic Belt.
The scenic area is characterized by rich and varied karst landforms,

Historical evolution
Since the Ministry of Construction carried out the comprehensive
rectification activities of national-level scenic spots in 2003, the
management office of Libo Lijiang National Scenic Area has actively

From 2003 to 2007, the Libo Minjiang National Scenic Area took the

In 2009, Libo County began to declare 5A-level scenic spots and
invested 53 million yuan to accelerate the improvement of
infrastructure construction in the scenic spot.
On November 27, 2009, the Libo Lijiang Scenic Area passed the
assessment of the AAAA-level tourist area assessment team of the
National Tourism Administration.
In 2013, the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial
Government promoted the construction of the “5 100 Projects”
platform, and the Libo River Scenic Area was included in the key
demonstration areas in the “100 Tourism Scenic Spots”.
In 2015, after the pre-assessment and online publicity of the National
Tourism Administration, Libo Lijiang Scenic Area was officially rated
as a national 5A-level scenic spot, becoming the fourth national 5A-
level scenic spot in Guizhou Province.

4. Geographical environment
Libo River Scenic Spot is located in Libo County, southern Guizhou
Province, in the Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture of Guizhou
Province, adjacent to Huanjiang and Nandan counties in Guangxi. It is
in the triangular tourist blank area of Guilin-Guiyang-Kunming. The
geographical position of Libo River Scenic Area is between
107°37′-108°18 east longitude and 25°07′-25°39′ north latitude. From
the east to the west, the Lancang River runs through the entire scenic
spot, connecting the Shuichun River Scenic Area, Daqikong Scenic
Area, Xiaoqikong Scenic Area and Yaoshan into a line. The average

The total area of the scenic spot is about 118.8 square kilometers, and
the core area is 34.8 square kilometers. It consists of Xiaoqikong
Scenic Area, Daqikong Scenic Area, Shuichun River Scenic Area and
Lijiang River Scenic Belt. There are 48 representative landscape
sources, including 4 special scenic spots, 6 first-level scenic spots, 10
secondary scenic spots, 16 third-level scenic spots, and 12 fourth-level

5. Xiaoqikong Scenic Area
Xiaoqikong Scenic Spot is one of the four scenic spots in the scenic
area of Minjiang River. It is located in the southern margin of
Guizhou Plateau, with a longitude of 107°39′-107°95′, a north latitude
of 25°12′—25°34′, with a total area of 46.4. Square kilometers. The

of Minjiang River. It is located in the southern margin of Guizhou
Plateau, with an east longitude of 107°39′-107°95′ and a north
latitude of 25°12′—25°34′ with a total area of 36.2. Square kilometers.
The scenic area integrates karst landforms with hydrological
landscapes. It features virgin forests, canyons, volts and underground

Traffic routes
Libo has convenient transportation, and the expressway directly
