Liberate is Jisc's new fully managed access management solution that provides a single point to integrate institutions with Jisc services like UKAccess Management Federation, Eduroam, and Assent. It reduces the effort, cost and complexity for institutions compared to managing multiple solutions separately. Liberate is a cloud-based platform that institutions can subscribe to components a la carte with no additional costs. A beta program begins in July 2017 with the full service launching in October 2017 to allow institutions to test Liberate before subscribing.
