To whom it may concern:
I’m writing to express my wholehearted support for Clare’s application for employment. As Clare’s manager during
her student internship with Roosterly which started in fall of 2015, I met with her frequently to assign responsibilities
and discuss the objectives. I was impressed with Clare’s maturity, initiative, and ability to meet deadlines. Clare
became a valued member of the team, and I’m confident that she has a successful career ahead of her.
As a Program Manager, Clare had a number of responsibilities both client facing and internal. She worked with
members of the management team on various projects, including hiring and training interns, managing interns,
tracking progress of their efforts via our CRM, developing training materials and developing a comprehensive FAQ for
clients, among other projects. Clare was especially skilled at identifying operational gaps and inefficiencies, even
introducing us to new tools and technologies that have shown a direct positive impact on revenue growth! It’s clear
that Clare has a passion for operations and driving value.
As a Business major at Loyola University with a focus in operations, Clare brought a mind for efficiency combined with
knowledge of process optimization. She’s also a skilled analyst, detail oriented and has an understanding of the
emerging technologies as they relate to business processes. She developed three client facing tutorials for our
consumer technology, working with end users to understand their challenges and building solutions that
comprehensively addressed specific challenges in an effective way. After just a week or two in the office,
furthermore, Clare was working independently on optimizing workflows, client on-boarding and other projects. She’s
self-motivated, attentive to detail, and skilled at both independent and collaborative work.
Beyond her operational and analytics skills, Clare left a mark with her open, thoughtful personality. She is well-spoken
and intellectual, and she lights up when talking about ideas and ways to generate more value to clients whilst
optimizing business processes. On her first day, we had a great conversation about the type of work she is passionate
about and what she derives a sense of purpose from. A community where Clare is challenged and working on
projects that solve real problems is exactly where Clare belongs. Not only can she hold her own in a discussion about
operations and driving revenue, but she can also communicate in an goal oriented setting where empirical results
matter. Clare’s charming personality and drive will be another factor in her success in an operations role.
