To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to you in support of Deborah Stolt and her pursuit of a position as a Registered
Nurse at your facility. I had the pleasure of working alongside Deborah at the Minneapolis VA
Medical center as a Nursing Assistant, where she was employed for over eight years. Deborah
possesses many qualities that make her an excellent candidate for this position and an asset to
any team.
During my time at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center, I had the privilege of working with
Deborah in several settings: in an inpatient rehabilitation/extended care unit and in the
operating room. These settings varied greatly in their duties and responsibilities; however, the
compassion and respect Deborah showed our veterans remained constant. Among the skills
and qualities I admire most about Deborah are her ability to communicate with patients,
families, and other staff members, her willingness to help her colleague, and her dedication to
nursing and the field of medicine. While working as a nursing assistant, Deborah attended
school to pursue a degree in Licensed Practical Nursing and later, she worked towards her
Associates of Nursing Degree. Her ability to handle both work and school demonstrate her drive
and hardworking nature. Additionally, through her experiences as a nursing assistant, she
developed innumerable skills and a fund of knowledge in the field of nursing.
Deborah is an intelligent individual whose energetic nature and positivity are much appreciated
by her patients and coworkers. She is a valuable team member and a pleasure to work with. I
strongly recommend making Deborah a member of your team and I look forward to hearing
about her accomplishments as a nurse!
