website for a nursing attendant position. As a nursing student, I have current certifications
for CPR (HCP), “it’s your move”, Non-violent Crisis Intervention, and advanced Care
Planning. For the last two semesters I have worked at a high school and an assisted living
facility where I have developed my therapeutic relationship building skills. Through my
experiences, I better understand the many aspects of community and family nursing and
have been involved in hands on care of older adults of limited range of motion.
I am well versed in the expectations of inter-professional practice and have participated in
situations that develop my interpersonal and communication skills. My English literacy can
be proven by the vast array of papers and presentations accomplished in the University of
Calgary nursing program. The care I have participated in has increased my awareness and
