If anything goes along with your resume or CV when you are trying to apply for a job, it is nothing but a brief document of yourself, known as a cover letter. It gives a more thorough description of your experience, skills, and overall appropriateness for the job role. When you register for a beginner level application, forming a cover letter can be a dare because you may not have adequate work experience. Nonetheless, it’s completely fine to mention your voluntary work experience in your cover letter only if it’s related to the job that you are registering to. After all, interviewers for beginner positions keep in mind that this might be your first interview. In other words, it is an implement to help introduce yourself in a memorable, unforgettable and personal way during a job application.

We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.

This is a presentation by Dada Robert in a Your Skill Boost masterclass organised by the Excellence Foundation for South Sudan (EFSS) on Saturday, the 25th and Sunday, the 26th of May 2024.
He discussed the concept of quality improvement, emphasizing its applicability to various aspects of life, including personal, project, and program improvements. He defined quality as doing the right thing at the right time in the right way to achieve the best possible results and discussed the concept of the "gap" between what we know and what we do, and how this gap represents the areas we need to improve. He explained the scientific approach to quality improvement, which involves systematic performance analysis, testing and learning, and implementing change ideas. He also highlighted the importance of client focus and a team approach to quality improvement.

2. How to Write a Letter of Application for a Job
part 1 Basics
step 1
Begin by adding your contact information at the top. Have your letter developed with
a letterhead. This will ensure that the hiring company can reply to you. This should
include your whole address and phone number(s), emails, twitter account and even
LinkedIn address whenever possible..
step 2
Write the name of the employer to whom you are applying for the job. Include the
address.
Step 3
Write the date in the letter.
Step 4
Write the name of the person to whom you are writing.
If their name is not known, write Sir/Madam.
Part 2 The contents of the letter
step 1
State the position to which you are applying so that the employer knows for certain. Explain where you
found the advertisement too, such as in a newspaper, via a job site or through a friend who works there,
etc.
step 2
Begin the letter by telling the employer why you want the job. Also explain why the job would be
suitable for you. Do not forget to mention if the company is a leader in its industry and that it will
make good progress by adding you to their team.
Step 3
In the next paragraph, summarize your strengths and any particular
qualifications or experience that would be considered relevant to
the post.
Refer to your CV for more explanations of your qualifications
and skills.
Step 4
Include the most relevant aspects of your career in the next paragraph.
3. Part 3 of 3: Finishing up the letter
step 1
Finally, explain how you think you can contribute to the company and help it
become successful.
Step 2
If they are going to contact you, at the bottom of the letter but before your closing and signature, write
I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience.
Step 3
End appropriately. Use Yours sincerely or Yours faithfully.
Step 4
Sign and write your name underneath.
Tips
1. Your letter should be clear and to the point. The employer's first impression of you is formed through this document.
2.You can type or hand-write your letter. However, typing is preferable because it is considered to be more formal and it's
easier to read, making it more likely that your letter will get read.
3. Double check that the spelling and grammar are correct. Use paragraphs and punctuation. Have a friend or family
member read through the letter to see if they can spot errors.
4. Check to make sure that the letter is formal and does not contain any slang or informal language.
5.Use a relevant font. Try to go for Arial or Times New Roman. Avoid fun fonts, such as Comic Sans, as this will ruin the
reputation of the letter immediately as it displays a lack of professionalism. There are some quirky jobs where this will go
over well but they're the rarity, so err on the side of caution.
6. Include a phone number, e-mail address or name of your reference and the best times when the employer can contact
them. Alternatively, ask someone to type a reference up for you and include it when you give your CV to the employer.
4. How To Write An Application Letter
Step One: Write the salutation.
A salutation is the part of the letter that addresses the reader by name. In general, it is not a good idea to just address the
letter to “Dear Sir or Madam” or “College Entrance Committee.” Be more specific. If the college doesn’t come out and tell
you who will be reading the letter, call and ask. They’ll give you the name of the person to whom the letter should be
addressed. Make sure your salutation is formal.
Step Two: Introduce yourself.
Think of the first few sentences of your application letter as an opening paragraph. Avoid wording like “I am writing
because…”, and instead just come out and say why you are writing. A strong beginning will set the tone for the rest of the
letter. You want your reader to be interested in learning more about you.
Step Three: Talk about why you want to attend their school.
Do a little research and then flaunt what you know in the second paragraph of your application letter. Be sure that this
section emphasizes that you’re a good fit for the school due to the school’s characteristics. Be honest and avoid sounding
like you’re sucking up.
Step Four: Talk about yourself in depth.
In the third paragraph, you really want to make your achievements shine. Application letters are only one to two pages long,
so you don’t have a lot of room to talk about yourself. Focus on things that aren’t found elsewhere in your application
packet. You can use examples to highlight how you’ve displayed these characteristics in the past.
Step Five: Be unique.
Before you close, have a paragraph that tells the reader why you are unique as compared to other students. In essence, you
want to convince the school that you are not just a good fit, but will also add something to the college that they don’t
already have. After all, every college wants alumni who are successful. Talk about your educational and career goals,
highlight talents that you hope to expand upon in college, and point out you academic achievements.
Step Six: Say thanks.
Close out your letter with a reminder of what you’ve covered, and always thank the reader for his or her time. Finish the
letter with your name, bother printed and signed. Don’t forget to sign – many students do every year.
Step Seven: Edit, edit, edit!
Your last step should be to edit the letter. Carefully review the text for typos and make sure that the content really makes
you shine. You might want to consider having teachers, parents, or friends read over the letter to help you make it stronger.
