LESSON : WRITING
I. BASIC COMPETENCY:
Expressing the meaning and steps of rhetoric accurately, fluently, and
received in a variety of language in the context of everyday life in form of
text; recount, narrative,and procedure.
II. LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the sessions the students are able to:
Write a variety of texts, especially in the form of a recount text with
rhetoric step and the right structure also acceptable.
III. TEACHING AIDS : Slide, LCD, whiteboard, and marker.
IV. PROCEDURE

I. Opening -Greeting students
- Asking one of the student start to pray
- Asking who absent today
-Responding tothe
teacher greeting
- Lead other
students to pray

- Respond to the

II. Main EXPLORATION
-Giving thestudents stimulation about recount
text
- Explain the definition,function and
characteristic of recount text.
ELABORATION
-The student read an example from recount text
- Teacher ask students are doing assignment
CONFIRMATION
-Give the positive feedback to the student

III.Closing -Teacher make conclusion from the material

V. EVALUATION
Example:
Our trip to the Blue Mountain
On Friday we went to the Blue Mountains. We stayed at David and
Della’s house. It has a big garden with lots of colorful flowers and a
tennis court. On Saturday we saw the Three Sisters and went on the
scenic railway. It was scary.
Then, Mummy and I went shopping with Della. We went to some antique
shops and I tried on some old hats. On Sunday we went on the Scenic
Skyway and it rocked. We saw cockatoos having a shower.
In the afternoon we went home. That was very pleasant moment with my
family that I ever got.

We stayed at David and Della’s house. It has a big garden with lots of colorful flowers and a tennis court. On Saturday we saw the Three Sisters and went on the scenic railway. It was scary. Then, Mummy and I went shopping with Della. We went to some antique shops and I tried on some old hats. On Sunday we went on the Scenic Skyway and it rocked. We saw cockatoos having a shower.
