1. Approximately 18 people attended a walking safety audit of Leslie St. in Toronto, including local councillors, residents, advocacy groups, and representatives from the City of Toronto and TTC. 2. The tour identified safety issues for pedestrians, cyclists, seniors and those with disabilities along Leslie St., including dangerous intersections, mixed traffic with few separation between modes, and lack of accessibility. 3. Suggested improvements discussed included designing sections with widened sidewalks, adding pedestrian signals, pavement markings at crossings, lighting upgrades, and a potential "green way" to better connect people to Lake Ontario. Next steps include collecting community feedback and further discussions between stakeholders.
