Du 2 au 7 juillet 2016 a eu lieu à Anvers, en Belgique, le Forum annuel de la Fédération européenne des internes de Psychiatrie. Durant un an, l’équipe locale de la présidente de l’EFPT, Livia De Picker (que vous avez pu rencontrer lors du CNIPSY 2015 à Toulouse) a travaillé d’arrache-pied afin d’accueillir des internes de Psychiatrie débarquant de toute l’Europe.
Le forum annuel est une rencontre permettant d’échanger sur la psychiatrie, l’internat à travers l’Europe… et plus encore !
Il s’agit d’un évènement à la fois culturel, scientifique, associatif… ce dont témoigne la diversité du programme de ces quelques jours.
Le forum s’ouvre avec les « country reports » : les délégués exposent synthétiquement les caractéristiques principales de la formation dans leur pays, les difficultés rencontrées par les internes, et les initiatives marquantes sur le plan associatif. Ceci permet de se rendre compte de la variété des formations et des problématiques rencontrées par les internes. L’un des objectifs majeurs de l’EFPT étant d’améliorer la formation des internes, un outil nommé Test Your Own Training (TYOT) est en cours de développement, afin de pouvoir comparer sa propre formation à des standards européens établis selon les statements de l’EFPT (disponibles sur le site).
