IBM Lotus Sametime - IM for the EnterpriseDvir Reznik
This short presentations provides an overview of IBM Lotus Sametime (instant messaging) solution. The deck covers IBM UC strategy, Lotus Sametime family and roadmap, analyst views, success stories and integration points with existing applications (Lotus Notes, web-portal, Microsoft Outlook/Office/MOSS).
Building management and facilities staff have much on their plate – every single day. From managing security access to fixing HVAC issues – there are too many inspections, requests, and tasks lined up which can be challenging to track physically.
Yet most big FMS companies continue to operate in an old-fashioned way, relying on phone calls, emails, and even pen and paper! Unfortunately, for companies that wish to grow, depending on inefficient manual practices could be toxic to their progress. It not only leads to erroneous but low-quality reporting which is detrimental to the reputation of any facility management services company.
Fortunately, there’s technology to the rescue in the form of advanced facility management software and facility management apps. These tools can automate repetitive manual processes – making them much more streamlined and cost-effective.
But How do you choose the right facility management software for your company?
Well, finding a facility management software tailored to your business is difficult. However, building a facility management app customized to your business is now possible with Axonator – the world’s first fully customizable facility management software.

Phone systems brisbane how to increase productivity with unified communicatio...Greg Eicke
We’ve appraised the financial advantages of mobility and demonstrated practical productivity improvements. Point out to you that never before could one technology business investment yield so many harvests. In part 3 I’ll examine the desirable benefits of amalgamating the award winning Zultys VoIP phone system with their own in house Web Conferencing and collaboration module.
Briefly, what is Web Conferencing?
In essence, web based conferencing is a software application with collaborative facilities. But more than that, web based conferencing is a new communications medium unlike any other.
SIPfoundry CoLab 2013 - Blair Pleasant Unified Communications Market UpdateSIPfoundry
At CoLab 2013 UC analyst Blair Pleasant of UC Strategies presents an insightful market update on the state of the Unified Communications industry and an outlook into the future.
What is the Future of Voice & Collaboration in Financial Services?Telstra_International
Financial firms that trade via voice are coming under increased commercial and regulatory
pressure to unify voice activities with other communication channels. The idea is to enable efficient
collaboration both internally - whether it involves the front, middle or back office - and externally
with clients, counterparties and regulators, wherever they may be. The number of communication
systems at a single bank or IDB, however, can be staggering. Can they streamline and improve
collaboration solutions across a range of devices, particularly as more and more voice and
messaging services are IP-based and available via the cloud and hosted solutions? How can they
leverage technology to gain maximum business benefit? There are a plethora of ways that market
participants can answer both questions. But there are two words specialists say firms need to keep
in their mind at all times: Think Holistically!
Future of Programmable Telecoms at Restconn 2017Alan Quayle
Explaining Programmable Telecoms and why its importance, why predictions are usually wrong, what to look for in less wrong predictions. Presented at Restconn 2017 in Prague May 23-25.
The rapidly shifting technology environment raises serious questions on how to help their companies capitalize on the transformation under way. Advancing technologies and their swift adoption are upending traditional business models. So, today we bring you Five Hottest Tech-Enabled Business Trends in 2017.
Internet, wireless technologies build bridge to customer engagementDawn Kehr

Going voice first: What executives should know about the next digital disruptionLuminary Labs
The voice-first paradigm shift requires rethinking everything. But the challenge isn’t new — we’ve been through this before. We look at the current state of voice technology, what we can learn from previous digital disruptions, and how companies can move forward.
There are a few key trends that are making business more complex: global value chain, consumerization, information overload and worker mobility.
These complexities are having a dramatic impact on business – slowing key business processes, reducing responsiveness and causing missed opportunities for your customers.
Cisco’s collaboration architecture is designed to help address these challenges. From the ground up, it is constructed to enable boundaryless collaboration – breaking down silos between content formats, individual tools and devices, companies, and ultimately between people working towards a common goal.
Cisco’s portfolio of collaboration applications leverage these services to help companies deliver against top line business imperatives such as saving on travel costs, improving employee productivity, increasing customer intimacy and facilitating innovation.
Together, these layers establish a collaboration core enabling compelling experiences both within and among organizations. As you and your customers think about transitioning to boundaryless collaboration, this is the architecture that will enable it.

Observability Concepts EVERY Developer Should Know -- DeveloperWeek Europe.pdfPaige Cruz
Monitoring and observability aren’t traditionally found in software curriculums and many of us cobble this knowledge together from whatever vendor or ecosystem we were first introduced to and whatever is a part of your current company’s observability stack.
While the dev and ops silo continues to crumble….many organizations still relegate monitoring & observability as the purview of ops, infra and SRE teams. This is a mistake - achieving a highly observable system requires collaboration up and down the stack.
I, a former op, would like to extend an invitation to all application developers to join the observability party will share these foundational concepts to build on:
LF Energy Webinar: Electrical Grid Modelling and Simulation Through PowSyBl -...DanBrown980551

Why You Should Replace Windows 11 with Nitrux Linux 3.5.0 for enhanced perfor...SOFTTECHHUB
The choice of an operating system plays a pivotal role in shaping our computing experience. For decades, Microsoft's Windows has dominated the market, offering a familiar and widely adopted platform for personal and professional use. However, as technological advancements continue to push the boundaries of innovation, alternative operating systems have emerged, challenging the status quo and offering users a fresh perspective on computing.
One such alternative that has garnered significant attention and acclaim is Nitrux Linux 3.5.0, a sleek, powerful, and user-friendly Linux distribution that promises to redefine the way we interact with our devices. With its focus on performance, security, and customization, Nitrux Linux presents a compelling case for those seeking to break free from the constraints of proprietary software and embrace the freedom and flexibility of open-source computing.
Removing Uninteresting Bytes in Software FuzzingAftab Hussain
Imagine a world where software fuzzing, the process of mutating bytes in test seeds to uncover hidden and erroneous program behaviors, becomes faster and more effective. A lot depends on the initial seeds, which can significantly dictate the trajectory of a fuzzing campaign, particularly in terms of how long it takes to uncover interesting behaviour in your code. We introduce DIAR, a technique designed to speedup fuzzing campaigns by pinpointing and eliminating those uninteresting bytes in the seeds. Picture this: instead of wasting valuable resources on meaningless mutations in large, bloated seeds, DIAR removes the unnecessary bytes, streamlining the entire process.
In this work, we equipped AFL, a popular fuzzer, with DIAR and examined two critical Linux libraries -- Libxml's xmllint, a tool for parsing xml documents, and Binutil's readelf, an essential debugging and security analysis command-line tool used to display detailed information about ELF (Executable and Linkable Format). Our preliminary results show that AFL+DIAR does not only discover new paths more quickly but also achieves higher coverage overall. This work thus showcases how starting with lean and optimized seeds can lead to faster, more comprehensive fuzzing campaigns -- and DIAR helps you find such seeds.

Securing your Kubernetes cluster_ a step-by-step guide to success !KatiaHIMEUR1
Today, after several years of existence, an extremely active community and an ultra-dynamic ecosystem, Kubernetes has established itself as the de facto standard in container orchestration. Thanks to a wide range of managed services, it has never been so easy to set up a ready-to-use Kubernetes cluster.
However, this ease of use means that the subject of security in Kubernetes is often left for later, or even neglected. This exposes companies to significant risks.
In this talk, I'll show you step-by-step how to secure your Kubernetes cluster for greater peace of mind and reliability.
